@acidfreako for that scenario use a HexBigInteger with parity and see if that solves the issue
@AvocadoPassion the examples provided are for the latest dev release (which will be the latest version) the dlls are provided in the url

When I do that, how do i get the txid etc

the return is the transactionHash
so you get use
web3.Eth.Transactions.GetTransaction.SendRequestAsync (txnHash)
