Not sure if this the place to ask but here goes. Been having issues with the VS code plugin after a recent reinstall of Vscode, hit it on two machines . (1.30.2 and plugin 0.0.49)
cntrl-p -> Solidity:compile current solidity contract results in the message start compile being shown and then nothing, no completion message. No output files generated. Any ideas? Thanks

@inuka_g_gitlab Long shot - but are your solidity contracts in a sub folder - or in the root of the project? I had an issue where no output was produced when my contracts where in a "contracts" folder.

@inuka_g_gitlab a little further, that's good. @juanfranblanco will probably need to check the json file issue. Are the abi and bin files being output properly?

@juanfranblanco so now that part works, and I get the json files. But The json file is unescaped. So now when I do cntrl-shift-p-> solidity :generate from... "contract.json", At the output of "solidity-code-generation" I get the error combinedInput.abi.split is not a funciton.
@juanfranblanco all these worked fine btw. Only appeared after I updated (both VS code and plugins). Thanks again
