I can see the great work going on with Nimbus v3 and redis. What I'm wondering is how do you see the future of rabbitmq? Do you know if anyone has put any thought/effort into an implementation yet, and do you think the Nimbus paradigms can be applied gracefully to rabbit? (Hint: yeah I think so, but not entirely sure yet on the best way to multicast req/resp)

Rabbit seems an obvious choice now we have pluggable transports... but, the MassTransit guys have done such a good job in this space for so long im hesitant to try to compete with them out of repect

Point taken, but MT is still, like, huge
and the rabbitmq thing would more be for existing Nimbus users that want to divorce ASB/SBWS and see Rabbit as best fitting their needs
like us, and probably @drewfreyling 's work (GlobalX)

If we decide to go to rabbit + nimbus, it would depend on the V3 timelines (prod quality release etc) because our times are tight. What we can't afford is issues like that one recently raised by @drewfreyling and amos
IF that's the path we decide on, we're happy (and probably need to) contribute, but like I said, we are about to embark upon the investigation
so like, don't do anything for our sake :) but if you are about to do it anyway, keep us up to date here

have been doing that for yonks
but it's a slow process, and we've had.... issues.... with service bus so we're not keen to do a full migration yet
