    @Vagrantin
    i can get in touch with them for you if you like
    the main difference of B2G and gecko embedded is that b2g is android based, gecko embedded is linux based
    Gutemberg Ribeiro
    @galvesribeiro
    Yeah, I want linux based so badly
    MatthDuc
    @Vagrantin
    B2G is smartphone oriented as gecko embedded is connect devices
    Gutemberg Ribeiro
    @galvesribeiro
    Specially if it can render to framebuffer
    MatthDuc
    @Vagrantin
    for me yes this is the target of gecko engine

    Graphics

    At the very lowest level, Gecko uses OpenGL ES 2.0 to draw to a GL context that wraps the hardware frame buffers. This is done in the Gonk implementation of nsWindow by code similar to this:

    seems you need Gonk for that the Gecko engine doesn’t do it by itself
    maybe you best chance is to follow up the Gecko_embedded project and get in touch with them.

    @galvesribeiro

    Perhaps we should try to catch a beer if any of us is actually on the same continent?
    I'm working out of Estonia, but will visit NY and SF in the end of the month.

    John Green
    @Coretool
    We've got Github issues with different difficulties and topics, take a look at them !
    Eugene Duffy
    @D3Exclusive
    I see, but I didn't want to get started while the code refactor was happening. How's the refactor going?
    John Green
    @Coretool
    You have to ask @piranna , I don't know
    Eugene Duffy
    @D3Exclusive
    Okay I'll ask piranna, nice to meet you btw :)
    John Green
    @Coretool

    @ellul_usa_twitter
    hey guys anyone knows whether it's better to create a Progressive Web App through Ionic rather than from scratch through basic HTML and javascript?
    John Green
    @Coretool
    I think that's question of convenience but if you target mobile devices I'd go for ionic ^^

    Is NodeOS still active? Simple, straight-forward question. hehe Don't mean to be blunt. ;)
    I've loosely followed the project for a couple of years -- awesome stuff.

    Can't we make a package which works like the one which installs node.js but instead of installing node.js, it installs the stuff for an xserver?
