    Hi guys , is there any way to increase the timeout of the bot handling? Currently if the bot takes more than 15 seconds to respond then a error will be shown: "Unable to reach app"

    Good day,
    I have company communicator on azure and it only runs fine when I use the v3.x branch for deployment.
    I attempted to change it from v3.x to v4.x because when I use master, it gives an error saying "The resource you are looking for has been removed, had its name changed, or is temporarily unavailable.". But when I go into the app service deployment centre to change the branch it points to, the changes are not reflected.

    after changing the branch and clicking on sync, is there something else I'm supposed to do?
    I tried redeploying but the redeployment failed with this error

    @Wajeed-msft as I see from here https://github.com/microsoft/botframework-sdk, Stable Release status of botbuilder java is still in 4.6.0 (preview6), is it sufficient for the development? Or I need to wait

    Hey @Wajeed-msft, can the bot run without restify or express? I'm trying to find the entry point function from the botframework sdk, from that function, I can pass in the request and get the response. E.g
    const response = bot.process(request);
    is the sdk possible to do that? My plan is run it on AWS lambdas function

    You can build your Bot even without SDKs as long as your have public facing http endpoint. Here are more details on building Bot using REST APIs: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/bot-service/rest-api/bot-framework-rest-connector-quickstart?view=azure-bot-service-4.0

    Hey guys, I'm using open extension to add the custom data, but it has some limits over here: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/graph/extensibility-overview#open-extension-limits:

    An application can add up to two open extensions per resource instance.

    I'm building a bot that using the below endpoint to create just only one open extension for organization resource .

    https://graph.microsoft.com/v1.0/organization/{id}/extensions

    I'm not clear what An application means. Does it mean an user or a bot/application?
    I tested that for each different user or the bot, it can create up to 2 extensions

    if that organization resource instance already has 2 extensions created before by the same user, then when my bot is installed, it couldn't use the oauth token of that user to create a new extension for that resource instance, right?

    Hi guys, I have a problem. I have a multi-tenanted bot and delivers messages to team members, tag groups, and channels using @mentions in the message. The problem I have is that I cannot find a way to get the members of a tag group. In the context object at context.activity.entities the object array contains each @mention, and if one or more of them are tag groups I cannot find a way to get the members of each group.

    Hi guys,

    I am trying to build a microsoft teams bot and post replies to specific threads but not by the responding the incoming post method request but by sending a post request to the channel, is that possible?

    I have tried sending the JSON object with the exact same values in the conversation dict, but it creates a new thread in the channel instead. Please do me a favor to give me any clues or hints on it. I'm not using Azure to build this bot, I am using webhooks only.

    Hi all, we have an MS Teams app and we're implementing AAD SSO. We have an external table that records who is currently signed in to our product. When a user initially signs in with AAD SSO, they are added to the table according to their AADId and msTeamsAppId.

    When they log out in our app within MS Teams, we also want to remove them from that table, so that the next time they reenter MS Teams, they're still signed out. To do that, we need the AADId and msTeamsAppId, but we're struggling to come up with solutions to fetch this outside of the original auth flow. How did other teams manage this?

    @Wajeed-msft Thanks for the great work for MS Teams that supports sequential workflows https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoftteams/platform/task-modules-and-cards/cards/universal-actions-for-adaptive-cards/sequential-workflows

    I'm able to use it and it work perfectly. In order to get the adaptive card updated, I must use a button to trigger the action type: Action.Execute

                  "items": [
                    {
                      "type": "ActionSet",
                      "actions": [
                        {
                          "type": "Action.Execute",
                          "title": "Request",
                          "style": "positive",
                          "verb": "submit_form",
                          "fallback": "Action.Submit"
                        }
                      ]
                    }
                  ]

    Is there a way that we can get the adaptive card updated based on the user input: e.g when the user selects an item from a dropdown list or selects a date from datepicker?

    Hello - I work on a team that is working on a new bot which I've defined in App Studio inside MS Teams. I'm having a hard time figuring out how to allow other developers on the team to edit (using their MS Team + App Studio) the bot I created. Would appreciate if someone could point me to the docs on how to get that setup or if we need to use the Teams admin portal, or something else. Thank you!

    Morning all... at a client, tried to add a webhook connector in Teams, and got "something went wrong, unified groups aren't supported". Web hits suggest the user needs an exchange license, but he already has that. Also checked https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/office/connect-apps-to-your-groups-in-outlook-ed0ce547-038f-4902-b9b3-9e518ae6fbab?ui=en-us&rs=en-us&ad=us and OrganizationConfig is set correctly to allow Connectors, and TeamsConnectors.

    PS> $org = get-organizationconfig
    PS> $org.ConnectorsEnabledForOutlook
    True
    PS> $org.ConnectorsEnabledForTeams
    True
    PS> $org.ConnectorsEnabledForTeamsLastUpdateTime
    01 January 0001 00:00:00
    PS> $org.ConnectorsActionableMessagesEnabled
    True

    Saw this post as well, but it wasn't helpful: https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/msteams/forum/all/adding-mailchimp-app-error-403-forbidden-unified/81566058-71dc-45e5-9e32-3eb9b7bfae85. Any ideas?

    @eyespies I think the bots created via App Studio are created in the Microsoft Tenant. You should be able to find, edit, and share the bot settings here: https://dev.botframework.com/bots/ The bot registration can also be migrated to your tenant from this portal.

    Hello msft team, I was using microsoft teams' sdk (js) to get a Context inside my app, and specifically the tenantSKU prop ( as seen in -> https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/javascript/api/@microsoft/teams-js/microsoftteams.context?view=msteams-client-js-latest#tenantSKU) happens to be null Only when I test the app in a mobile environment, for other envs it is ok, do you happen to have some info on how to get this context's prop in a mobile scenario @Wajeed-msft ? Thanks

    Hi @Wajeed-msft there is a new bug, which is pretty serious. When an adaptive card contains an Input.Time and the Teams locale is set to something like Chinese or Korean, the wrong value is returned. For example in Chinese "02:30 下午" should be 14:30 in HH:MM but it now returns 02:30. It still works fine for US style PM/AM notation

    Hi! Can we replace, modify, delete or send messages from domain users as an application? Per my testing only changing the violation policy is possible but looks very restricted to the DLP scenario. I would like to go beyond that and replace the content of the messages. Will a bot help here? Does it need to be mentioned and invited to all group channels and chat for it to work?

    Hi, has anyone figured out the lag / delay if you sideload a Teams App into a Team as an Owner? The change seems to take place on the msteams web client before the desktop client. I've tried signing in and out of Teams to force a cache refresh which solves the issue. How about for my 5000+ users? I cannot ask them all to sign in and out of Teams just for an updated manifest.
