Any idea what the ittb is? I've played around with pqtools on my openipc cam before. I'm trying to see if I can find the vendors pqtools profile on original firmware to use on my other cams before I flash em all to openipc. Currently the quality of the image is horrible compared to vendors profile, so it's kinda stopping me from flash rest of my cams (re @cronyx: board and server side but they will not help you until you have access to the system)

Chrome Canary >= 107.0.5300.0 has already enable HEVC HW decoding support for ChromeOS, Mac, Windows and Android by default. Chrome 107 release version will be available after 2022-10-25.

Nothing is said about Linux support

I played around with it on Linux trying to get it working and playing with flags and settings. Seems that it needs hardware and not software decoding and doesn't seem to work on my Linux with just Intel chip

there are guys who made their own Chromium build with full HEVC support, but it seems that dropped Linux support recently

I'm having issues installing with instructions on openipc.org/cameras/vendors/hisilicon/doc/hi3516ev300

The setnor8m command doesn't work and gives errors.

Debugging this command is really hard and should probably get exploded out so that it's easy to follow and more debuggable.

I'm trying to write up where the issue is...but holly crap debugging this recursion is breaking my head ;)

    Joe [telegram]
Also errors on my cam where it needs an sf lock 0 command before you can write uBoot in step 2. Should probably get added to step2 to avoid issues for others who might have locked mem
    Joe [telegram]
Should git issues for this get sent to website git or somewhere else?
    FlyRouter [telegram]
No. We do not have devices with this processor (re @gtxaspec: t40 coming soon? for reference:)

For example, many loaders have only the 'tftpboot' command and many others have just 'tftp' and so on.
So if you get an error, use your head and find a solution.
Just because the command doesn't fit your board doesn't mean it doesn't fit others. 😏
    Joe [telegram]
I think there's an actual issue with the command
    Joe [telegram]
When I explode it out, instead of recursion, it works
    Joe [telegram]
I just installed fine, but I need to explode out the setnor8m command out
    Joe [telegram]
I'll re-install again and see if I can pin point the issue
    Igor Zalatov
    @ZigFisher
    dimerrr [telegram]
there are no issues if you are using our bootloader, otherwise it wont work
    Joe [telegram]
Command works and resets the board, but there's no kernel
    Joe [telegram]
So you get a no kernel error
    Joe [telegram]
And I assumed this error came from the command
    Joe [telegram]
The reboot is so fast after the command, it just looks like the command fails
    dimerrr [telegram]
no wonder, someone has to put kernel where it belongs

    Joe [telegram]
So my suggestion perhaps would be to remove the reset command at the end in the setnor8m command (I know it says to be vigilant) and instead change it to

    setnor8m; reset;

    Joe [telegram]
Else idiots like me will get confused

So aside from needing to add an sf lock 0 everything else seems to work

where you added this command, show me (re @Joe: So aside from needing to add an sf lock 0 everything else seems to work)

    In step 2 (flash uboot)
    Joe [telegram]
    After sf probe 0
    Joe [telegram]
    You add sf lock 0

This command is optionally needed only on those boards where the U-boot partition is locked and where this command is available.
    Joe [telegram]
Ya I'd assume only needs to be used when locked
    Joe [telegram]
    Mine was locked
    Joe [telegram]
    So needed it

I'm learning after flashing my cams that the Chinese vendor ripped me off and gave me sc4236 instead of imx335 sensors on these cams . ;)

Seems netip (port 34567) is enabled upon fresh install by default (in web admin it appears to be disabled).

To disable you need to enable it, which requires a user & password. Save.

    Then disable and save again.

If it's going to be enabled by default, should show that in web ui
