He came from the official library and disabled part of the network card AC, I just want to help you disable the network card that still has problems with 802.11AC.802.11n may be more appropriate until the problem is fixed

Hi, I have a problem with my Intel Wireless 7260 on OC Bug Sur with all versions I tested including the latest nightly. The driver works great with the device but unfortunately stops working when resuming after sleep. I know this problem was reported several times before and the issue was addressed in newer versions but it never resolved the issue on my device. I have attached a report after resuming when the device seems to work no longer (does not reconnect and no longer show any wireless networks). Hopefully you can help me out :)

@zfdx123

Have you ever tried 5Ghz?
Yoel Jimenez del Valle
@kjoe07
nope does not have a 5Ghz router only wifi n and with a public wifi router in 5ghz got 65mhz very low power configured router that for me does not count at all
zfdx
@zfdx123
Sorry, everything is OK in our test, if you want to get faster speed, we suggest you continue to use itlwm.
Yoel Jimenez del Valle
@kjoe07
ah ok thanks for the info

@zxystd
@0xf4b1 Have you tried v2.1.0-alpha version? It is a ACPI related issue but I have tried to wakeup the pcie on driver side.
0xf4b1
@0xf4b1
@zxystd Yes, I have tested v2.1.0-alpha where you addressed the issue, but unfortunately it seems to have no effect for my device. Is there anything more I can do to help identify the issue?

@zxystd here is screenshot of wifi properties connected to 40Mhz bandwithd but only got 150Mbps instead of 300 mbps
zxystd
@zxystd
it is correct.
your card is single antenna
image.png
@kjoe07
If you are connecting a 11AC supported router, you will get 433mbps maximum.
Yoel Jimenez del Valle
@kjoe07
ok i thought that 40Mhz make 300mbps by default but seems not, even with itwm works as 300mpbs but ok for me
Yoel Jimenez del Valle
@kjoe07
never mind it got 2 cables in attached but intel say is only one antenna so thanks
zxystd
@zxystd

@0xf4b1
@zxystd Hi again, regarding my problem, could you (or someone else who knows about it) tell me whether the ACPI problem needs to be addressed in the driver or needs to be fixed differently (like with dsdt patching but how to find the correct functions?)

hola! I have a question - i was searching for the benefits of using heliport . Im using lastest alpha on my xiaomi notbook air 13" wich uses an Intel Dual Band-Wireless-AC 8265 Chip. I m runnning on Big Sur with the last alpha and everything seems fine (except of Airdrop wich seems normal). In not using heliport and would like to know if there are some benefits of using it ...

@xMikooo
One big advantage for me would be that it's able to connect to iPhone Hotspots flawlesly. I personally still use Airportitlwm and just use USB tether which is faster

All of my kexts are active and working.

Strange question, but has anyone heard of the Intel Killer AX500-DBS? It's a chip that replaces the AX1650 on some XPS models, but I've barely found information on it, much less related to hackintoshing
xMikooo
@xMikooo
Might be a stupid question, but does Airportitlwm support WPA3 yet?

Itlwm device match 1616... Well I checked through my devices and 1616 is my processor? Why would itlwm be trying to link to my processor? My Intel wifi device is 095a... I tried setting the device id in the info.plist but that didn't make any difference. Ive been slugging away at this for days and I really can't figure out what would have changed between opencore and clover, but I'm 7265 used to work fine on clover with itlwm and heliport
