Hey @pradeep-touriocity, could you please help me know which method did you called of JavaScript SDK, and parameters passed to it?

@deepesh-kn finally getting to this. THANK YOU!
I use truffle so should be easy to get.

hello, when want to registered on ost kit , i was this messages: email not approve, how to help me? thanks
Shlok Gilda
@shlokgilda
@Cryptoplus__twitter OST KIT is in private alpha right now. Only a few whitelisted emails are allowed to access Kit during our POC challenges. You can subscribe to our mailing list for latest news from us and we shall let you know when the next challenge is going to start.

@Orami
hello room.
i love the OSt. i have a question.
is it possible to get a second login to create an additional token. i have one for a one company but id like to use for my personal company as well?
Mario Jefferson
@Orami
anybody ?
Junisha
@JunishaM
@Orami , you can create a second login with a different email address. As we are in closed alpha only whitelisted email addresses can access OST KIT. To get your second email address whitelisted please raise a support ticket on help.ost.com and I shall work to help you through this.
Mario Jefferson
@Orami
perfect thank you

Hi,
Are you using OST SDK to make API calls ?
In case you have written your own SDK please refer to https://dev.ost.com/docs/api_authentication.html for standard instructions on signature generation logic.
Let us know if you need our help

@kimyd
@deepesh-kn what exactly OST blockchain means? is it utility chain(i.e. ethereum blockchain but different network id, consensus?? and what is different from OST mosaic and OST blockchain?
Deepesh Kumar Nath
@deepesh-kn

@kimyd , Can you give me more context? Where did you read about the term OST blockchain? Do you mean meta-blockchain?

Regarding mosaic: It is a parallelization schema for decentralized applications. It introduces a set of Byzantine fault-tolerant (BFT) consensus rules to compose heterogeneous blockchain systems into one another. Decentralized applications can use Mosaic to compute over a composed network of multiple blockchain systems in parallel.

You can find more details on mosaic here
https://github.com/OpenSTFoundation/mosaic-contracts/blob/develop/docs/mosaicv0.pdf

Kyda
@kimyd
@deepesh-kn you mentioned OST blockchain on 18th Aug. anyway, is it same as meta-blockchain? So Mosaic is kind of schema (written in Smart contract) that runs on EVM. That means it is not a kind of sidechain. Am I right?
Martin Schenck
@schemar
@kimyd The OST blockchain that @deepesh-kn mentioned on 18 Aug is a side chain. It is commonly referred to as utility chain in the context of OpenST or as auxiliary chain in the context of mosaic. However, the mosaic meta-blockchain is a layer two blockchain above ethereum and auxiliary. The meta-blockchain is recorded in a smart contract on ethereum in the form of meta-block headers.

Hi, I am new here and I created my token on testnet. Is this platform ready to launch token on mainnet?
Artur Chmaro

Hi, I read about ephemeral keys in OpenST (medium article) and really liked the idea. I would like to play a bit with them. Can somebody point me to docs? I looked through Github and official page and didnt find anything. Some draft/in-progress docs would be super helpful too.

@bettabeta
@schemar @benjaminbollen Hi Martin and Ben, I know that you are super busy atm but do you have any pointer to the ephemeral key question of @ArtiChmaro_twitter ? He started to work with us and I love him to explore your proposed solution as we see a huge value for us considering enterprises managing their software assets.. Big thanks and keep up the nice work with your awesome team - Daud
Benjamin Bollen
@benjaminbollen
hi @ArtiChmaro_twitter and @zulfacar ! we re more than happy to already help you on your way!
the building blocks to start with it are on openst.js; in the coming two weeks we'll further clean up and provide examples; we're also working on an Android and iOS SDK to use the ephemeral keys out of the box;
Daud
@bettabeta
Big thanks
Benjamin Bollen
@benjaminbollen
so note that openst.js (the node.js interaction layer) is still pre-alpha; the contracts are going into external security assessment next week
(we merged a bugfix to develop just now, so that introduced the delay in responding further 😅)
so the short story is that ephemeral keys need to sign "executable transactions" (according to EIP1077) and don't need to have a balance. These executable transactions can be given to the users' TokenHolder contract using TokenHolder.executeRule https://github.com/OpenSTFoundation/openst.js/blob/develop/lib/helper/TokenHolder.js#L111
Benjamin Bollen
@benjaminbollen
which should be called by a (any) relayer, an account that does have a balance; the relayer pays for the gas cost (ie. unlike the multisig transactions, for in-economy transactions the company, not the user pays for transaction costs)

note, EIP1077 is detailed here https://github.com/ethereum/EIPs/blob/master/EIPS/eip-1077.md

we have a helper for signing EIP1077 here: https://github.com/OpenSTFoundation/openst.js/blob/develop/utils/SignEIP1077Extension.js#L29
(note that version should always be 0x00, it s an open ticket to remove that parameter)

and I can't warn enough, in the next two weeks openst.js will fully restructure, so there will be breaking changes :)
Benjamin Bollen
@benjaminbollen
lastly, taking a step back; we have a factory contract that for a new user will deploy two proxy contracts: one for the TokenHolder (which is the users contract that acts within the economy) and a proxy for Gnosis Multisig (which holds the device keys for the user across multiple devices / app installations with the SDK)
it is the Gnosis MultiSig (always with a multisig requirement of 1, so all devices are equal), that is the owner of the users TokenHolder contract (proxy); therefore you need to sign Gnosis SafeTx (similarly executable transactions, etherless but not following EIP1077) to perform wallet operations (eg. adding a new device key, or authorizing a new ephemeral key (is also called a "session key") )
the device keys in the multisig can also "log out", which disables all currently active session keys in the TokenHolder contract
Benjamin Bollen
@benjaminbollen
similar to the "executeRule" for executing actions using the executable transactions signed by ephemeral keys within the economy,
to take wallet actions with Gnosis Safe executable transactions, you can use GnosisSafe.executeTransaction https://github.com/OpenSTFoundation/openst.js/blob/develop/lib/helper/GnosisSafe.js#L140
Artur Chmaro
@ArtiChmaro_twitter
Thank you Benjamin for clarification! I will play a bit with openst.js
Daud
@bettabeta
Merci to all the info..we can back to you once we got deeper into it..

Hi everyone, I have few questions related to your Platform.
Benjamin Bollen
@benjaminbollen
Happy to answer
sachin shinde
@sacOO7
Is it possible for a user to create a wallet in the web browser? Or do you need a mobile app to confirm transactions?
Ankit Yadav
@ankit-yadv
The OST Wallet SDKs support non-custodial wallets, where users hold their keys and can transact with Brand Tokens using their mobile devices.
The mobile-first approach takes advantage of the security features of modern mobile devices to securely generate the required keys on the user's mobile device and encrypt them using the secure enclave (on iOS) or key store (on Android)
There are a number of security advantages to building the wallets into Android and iOS mobile apps and using the security on the devices.
