@mpbraendli Cc Maurits added
Replying to Maurits:
FYI, in case anyone wants to take this on, the people over at ‚ÄčOpenDigitalRadio.org have patched their version of the Fraunhofer FDK AAC codec library to support the AAC 960 transform that is required for DAB+ digital radio.
Do I understand correctly that the people at "Open"DigitalRadio? decided to patch a proprietary, non-free decoder instead of the one in libavcodec?
Do you agree that this is not exactly helpful for the issue described here?

They probably didn't change the background since 1999

It is clear the Fhg are not going to help with encoding, so I'm looking around. I doubt I will find anything that is new.

The AAC-HE reference code contains 960 transforms, apparently.

Hi all! I have binaries for CRC-DABRMS s/w, it can decode ETI-NI files. But there is better command-line replacement for it, called eti-tools.

@piratfm I'm not sure now if we mention your tool and also your other work on our website. That's a shame... I will check and add some pointers.
If you are interested, we could also communicate that your eti-tools are officially part of the ODR mmbTools.

No problem. I'm thinking it's also good place for FPGA modulator sources
BTW: I'm just finished basic ZeroMQ support.
Now modulator board able to connect to dabmux by basic zeromq link and play it on-air. This is first steps for SFN...

Excellent! Why 'basic'? What are the limitations?
