Can anyone explain email template priorities? I have a specific email that I want to send as plain text, but it is combining it with my template for all the emails

what is 'priorities' with email templates?
I probably implemented what you are talking about, I can just remember how we use it for User emails

@sebastienros I have a template in a module, and it is getting combined with my template in my theme

So my content is getting rendered in my module template, then it is getting pushed into my them template
then sent to the consumer, I would like to just use my module template for the email

weird
you just created the same file name in your module?
but the shape templates from a theme will always win

var template = _shapeFactory.Create("Template_Arfs_Request", Arguments.From(request));
        var parameters = new Dictionary<string, object> {
            {"Subject", "Action Request Form"},
            {"Body", _shapeDisplay.Display(template)},
            {"Recipients", siteSettings.ArfsEmailAddress}
        };

        _messageService.Send("Email", parameters);
Hmm, now I feel I am doing something incorrectly

@douwinga You mean compare 2 fields which belong to the same FieldIndexPartRecord (so the same content item), right? E.g i can do an hqlQuery on a content type, do a join on FieldIndexPartRecord, do a join on its DecimalFieldIndexRecords collection property. Then, i can filter on some fields properties, but i didn't find a way to filter by comparing the values of 2 fields of this same child collection, at least in the same hqlQuery. I think it's not possible. The only way i found is to use afterwards a regular system.linq where extension.

Does anyone know of a way to use the body content part without using tinyMCE?
for just one content item type, not the site in general

you could use a textbox set to a textfield
then it would'nt convert the text typed in html
if that's what you need
