@jtkech yes, that is what I meant. I came to the same conclusion as you and just did a where after grabbing the results. It does affect performance, but with the amount of data we are returning in this case, it isn't that noticeable (Especially since the query is used to preload the next set of data in the background, so the user doesn't really notice). Thank you for looking into this though!

@sebastienros @sfmskywalker So it seems if i want to send a plain text email I will need to make my own message channel and event handler, that seem correct?
@sebastienros @sfmskywalker Oh, just seen the obsolete on the handler, so just a message channel?

@phillipsj I don't think you need to write anything for a plain text. There is already a channel for emails. Have you tried to look at the code that the SMTP settings uses to test the email settings?

@sebastienros Yes I have, however, it overrides the template and since there is html elements it toggled the body to be HTML in the email
@sebastienros So I created a selector and a channel to do plain text and to use a different template
@sebastienros It would be great if the default email channel let you pass the template, if not passed use the default and allow you to toggle the html, otherwise autodetect. if interested I can give it a try and submit a pull request. I would also be willing to add it as a message type to the email module

now I get what you say by plaintext ... even the default channel wraps your text in a <body>, right, yes, feel free to provide a custom channel if you want.
