# Does it take code?
def test
end
Oooh, nice
Priyavadan Kumar
@priyavadan
yes, supports markdown
continuing convo here, will probably add stuff to diff to display lines that have changed
Stephen McGinty
@ginty
cool, may want to put it behind a switch though, could be really verbose
Priyavadan Kumar
@priyavadan
yeah
Stephen McGinty
@ginty
another thing that would be good would be if it rendered out a diff-friendly temp file if it found diffs
Priyavadan Kumar
@priyavadan
i have changes synced in locally (have been maintaining a local copy) and just merged pulled in all changes from master into my fork
actually , i plan to have it export to html or markdown, the diffs

@ginty
I recently added vector/cycle counts in end of line comments

@priyavadan Not yet, I started running Plex from my main computer and I'm very happy with it. I looked into low cost single-board-computer options but came to the conclusion that most of them were under powered to run Plex and/or it would require significant hacks to get it to work. I also really want GB ethernet for NAS and most of them don't have that.
So from looking into this I came across the Intel NUCs, they seem to be what I really want - decent processing power but still low power to run always-on, but they're more expensive. So for now going to make do with my RPi for NAS and desktop for Plex, but will treat myself to a NUC for Christmas and that will replace both.

Hey @priyavadan, do you know anyone with a high rep on stack overflow by any chance? I would really like to use this for immediate help and stack overflow for offline help (rather than say a Google mail list or something). However to create an 'Origen' tag you need to have a rep score > 1500.
@chrisnappi, see above question re. stack overflow.
Priyavadan Kumar
@priyavadan
@ginty unfortunately, I don't know anyone with high reputation on stackoverdlow. However
you can request the creation of a tag by starting a new meta discussion. This gives other people the opportunity to discuss if the new tag is needed.
You could also create a subreddit 'Origen-SDK' for users to submit questions for offline help and integrate it into Origen using the Reddit API.

@priyavadan
NUCs are great!

Oooh that's cool, thanks!

@priyavadan
@chrisnappi , why is plex not meeting your needs? ;-)
there is also mediabrowser (now called Emby) that is open source
but i feel it still needs a lot of work
btw, do you have appletv?
if so, my server supports connecting to it via AppleTV -- using plexConnect, let me know if you need more info
Stephen McGinty
@ginty
Chris is a member of the Emby team

@priyavadan
