The right channel is BBB-134.ogv but in your screenshot another channel appears. So, I guess that there is an error in the command that you ran.
BBB.ogv doesn't exist, so it's the reason of that 404 error code.

Hey! I've successfully build the P2PSP on my system and everything is working fine. So please guide me through how to proceed @cristobalmedinalopez and what are the next steps ?
Cristóbal Medina López
@cristobalmedinalopez
Hi @sachinsngh165 Great! One of the projects we are working on is the P2PSP Simulator (https://github.com/P2PSP/simulator). We use it to prototype new features in an easy way. It is written in Python. A good idea could be take a look to the project and try to collaborate improving it. Some of more interesting issues to resolve are: P2PSP/simulator#13 and P2PSP/simulator#9
Thanks!

Hello everyone I wish to contribute to P2PSP for GSoC where do I begin?
Cristóbal Medina López
@cristobalmedinalopez
Hi @Glitchfix Welcome to the P2PSP project! We always recommend test the protocol by running a P2PSP local team in your system. https://github.com/P2PSP/I-want-to-use-it

Hello Everyone, My name is Rupesh Harode.I am a third year Electronics Student interested in doing a project under P2PSP.Please recommend me on how to get familiar with the protocol?
Cristóbal Medina López
@cristobalmedinalopez
Hi @firedranzer welcome to the P2PSP project!
Our first recommendation is to read about the protocol and try to run a local team (see instructions at https://github.com/P2PSP/I-want-to-use-it)

@Glitchfix
Did you download Boost using package manager or the make file?
Rupesh Harode
@firedranzer
I tried both ways but ended up with the same problem
Vicente González Ruiz
@vicente-gonzalez-ruiz
@firedranzer, please, can you say which version of boost have you used?
Shivanjan Chakravorty
@Glitchfix
@firedranzer try sudo ./make.py for a change I faced this problem on one of my friend's computer. sudo happened to solve it.
Rupesh Harode
@firedranzer
Ok let me check this on my PC
Shivanjan Chakravorty
@Glitchfix
and make sure you have libboost 1.63.0 installed while doing so
Rupesh Harode
@firedranzer
@Glitchfix I tried with sudo but nothing seem to change.
Also, does this seem to affect?
  MACOSX_RPATH is not specified for the following targets:

   p2psp
Shivanjan Chakravorty
@Glitchfix
install this
Install Boost 1.63.0
wget https://sourceforge.net/projects/boost/files/boost/1.63.0/boost_1_63_0.tar.bz2/download
tar xvjf download
cd boost_1_63_0
./bootstrap.sh
./b2 install
This should solve your problem you are just facing a version issue I suppose
Rupesh Harode
@firedranzer
ok let me try. thanks for the help
Shivanjan Chakravorty
@Glitchfix
Does it work?
Rupesh Harode
@firedranzer
no still stuck on the same error
Shivanjan Chakravorty
@Glitchfix
do a clean install after this
Rupesh Harode
@firedranzer
Ok I will try again 😅
Rupesh Harode
@firedranzer
thanks @Glitchfix clean install worked on my mac.

Vicente González Ruiz
@vicente-gonzalez-ruiz
@vedanshbhartia, this typlically happens when you get previously an error when running the team. Please, share the commands you used.
Vedansh Bhartia
@vedanshbhartia

@cristobalmedinalopez
@vedanshbhartiaI suggest that you try to run a local team instead. The splitter could be inaccessible or not running in the server.
Vedansh Bhartia
@vedanshbhartia
The local team works fine, thank you!
Vicente González Ruiz
@vicente-gonzalez-ruiz
@vedanshbhartia, we are sorry, but, a splitter is not available at 150.214.150.60:4552 at this moment :-/
ColdFire
@fenilgandhi
I tried to run an instance but was hit error mentioned in #134 . So i downgraded my boost libraries by 1 version but still the error persists. So which version of boost shall i downgrade, to get it running ?
Vicente González Ruiz
@vicente-gonzalez-ruiz
@fenilgandhi, you should be able to compile the core of P2PSP using the version specified in the make.py file (1.63.0). However, depending also on your OS, this could fail (yesterday, I was able to compile in a (updated) Linux Arch but I could not in an outdated Ubuntu Server). For that reason, the most intelligent way of solving all these issues should be to update the source files (I suppose that these changes are going to be minimal). Apologizes for the inconveniences, but, we are now very focused on the Python implementation of the P2PSP simulator (https://github.com/P2PSP/simulator), that, with a good (still to be written) extension, could work also as the "main" P2PSP application.

General advice about proposals [GSoC 2018]
We took a look to the drafts. As a general advice, we recommend to answer at least the questions proposed here: http://p2psp.org/en/news/59-gsoc-application-template

It's important to pay attention to the idea itself, and try to give as much information as possible: background, milestones, time scheduling, etc.

Good Luck!

Vicente González Ruiz
@vicente-gonzalez-ruiz

Hi @/all , we have updated the "white paper" of P2PSP. It is available at https://p2psp.github.io/

Everybody is welcome to contribute!
