most likely no, it will be entirely loaded into memory anyway

in Excel, click an image, then use the formula bar to reference another image or cell containing an image or formula.

I couldn't find a property in the Worksheet\Drawing class
and also, the cell's formula is different from the image's formula, even if the image has the cell's coordinates
