    Regarding the MySQL quickstart information. The database connectors do not require or use PerfectLib or the server in any way, yet all the new information pulls those in
    Tim Taplin
    @taplin
    I guess that I was looking to have a quick start example which would result in a functioning project and not something just in abstract. I took some cues from the currently outdated MongoDB example which works similarly.
    we could remove the dependencies and have a more bare bones quickstart if that is the preference
    Kyle Jessup
    @kjessup
    Oh I didn't realize mongo was the same way. I don't think I did that.
    Tim Taplin
    @taplin
    I understand your point about the connector not depending on PerfectLib or the HTTPServer, but I think there could be arguments on both sides, and we should have a clear decision, and maintain that consistently thru these quickstart examples
    I am happy to update both quickstarts accordingly given some direction, and then will continue to produce further quickstarts consistent with that decision.

    @kjessup
    I think that if the words Quick Start were changed to something like Example Usage or the like and they included a sentence saying this example shows how to use this module along with PerfectHTTPServer or something like that it would be less confusing

    @kjessup
    Who is working on what right now?
    I'm doing a quick redis-sessions module and then hitting request/response filters docs

    I’m working on quickstarts, Postgres on deck at the moment

    all the docs completed badges seem to be getting an error. I'm going to replace them with just text

    Hey @taplin , just seen your PR come in… could you update the status of the task in Jira? Thanks!
    @rymcol please send me your email address so I can add you to Jira please?

    @iamjono
    hehe, exactly!

    @kjessup
    Hey so as I work on the HTTPRequest doc I see that there will be a lot of overlap with the subsections "formData" and "fileUploads". It might be a good idea to put all that content in one HTTPRequest document and have the subsections listed under that link to the sections within it. does this make sense?
    Jonathan Guthrie
    @iamjono
    Hmmm, yeah I’m documenting those more descriptively though
    We could put them as subsection documents under the HTTPRequest?
    Kyle Jessup
    @kjessup
    more descriptively than the non-existent HTTPRequest doc? I would hope so
    Jonathan Guthrie
    @iamjono
    hehe
    yeah
    Kyle Jessup
    @kjessup
    ok yeah that's fine. I will link to them then
    Jonathan Guthrie
    @iamjono
    hey as an aside… in Jira, click on the DOC-26 issue, press “a” and assign yourself ;)
    please
    Kyle Jessup
    @kjessup
    I did HTTPRequest, HTTPResponse and added more to Mustache
    We have so much done! just a few sections left.
    Jonathan Guthrie
    @iamjono
    wahoo!
    Jonathan Guthrie
    @iamjono
    excellent
    curl docs are up there too
    Tim Taplin
    @taplin
    I’m posting a pull request for the Perfect-HTTP quickstart instructions, mostly in order to get some feedback on whether there should be more detail here, or if it makes more sense to put that in the HTTPServer quickstart and in the Docs themselves? I could add a few more samples of accessing properties on the Request and Response objects...
    Ok, I feel stupid asking this question, but how do I get my fork to update/pull from the master?
    Ryan Collins
    @rymcol
    @taplin add the origin repo as upstream

    git remote add upstream (original repo)
