You could also offer stakes in future projects that you work on to holders of special squares
or maybe offer stakes to holders of every square, but a larger stake to special square holders
If you did either of the last two, and had some interesting future project ideas, I would also feel more comfortable shopping this around as a serious investment to other investors. Which would be fun!

@the8thbit the dev should have a Discord up in a few days. I will post it here when it's live. BTW he is offering to buy tiles back for 2 ETH from anyone who purchased in 2016/17. But you may want to hold onto yours as they will probably be seen as the most valuable:)
