    sorry it config/routes.yml file
    Fabuloops
    @Fabuloops
    Ok I'll try the same file tree as you
    https://github.com/jolelievre/ps_linklist/tree/migrate-sf
    thank you!
    jolelievre
    @jolelievre
    that’s a good starting point yes ;)
    as this is the first module we migrated, there might still be some feature or component we are still lacking to implement everything you want
    if you find some blockage due to our implementation don’t hesitate to report them to us so we can improve the next version of PrestaShop
    Fabuloops
    @Fabuloops
    for sure

    Hello! Need i create a class or a method for install/uninstall an entity override in my module for Prestashop 1.7.5 ? Because i have this error on my uninstall :
    Class ProductOverrideOriginal_remove5bc7431a2d901 does not exist
    Pablo Borowicz
    @eternoendless
    There are limitations and risks of using overrides. Keep them for your own shop.
    Fabuloops
    @Fabuloops
    I don't want to share this module, it's just more easy to create module for futur update of Prestashop
    Pablo Borowicz
    @eternoendless
    i see
    regarding that, it should work automatically as long as you follow the convention here: https://devdocs.prestashop.com/1.7/modules/concepts/overrides/#overriding-a-class
    Fabuloops
    @Fabuloops
    It will be copied in /override/classes/Product.php during the module installation, and removed automatically on uninstall.
    thanks :)
    i skiped this part

    glad that helped you :)

    Hello,

    add the attribute php_self in front controller it's still good ? because it's bugging my controller path

    it's mentionned here https://devdocs.prestashop.com/1.7/themes/getting-started/asset-management/#with-a-front-controller-module

    Without this attribute i can access to my controller like that :
    /module/modulename/controllername
    After add this attribute, the application suggests to me to go to
    /index.php?controller=controllername&module=modulename
    but this link don't work

    Good morning and hello from Italy
    I need to customize customer object adding fields and customize theme registration form
    I've tried custom registration plugin but it's not sufficient
    Have you some suggestions?
    Mickaël Andrieu
    @mickaelandrieu
    which version of PrestaShop are you using
    ?
    web-fu
    @web-fu
    1.7
    Mickaël Andrieu
    @mickaelandrieu
    which version of 1.7? ^^
    web-fu
    @web-fu
    I have to migrate an existing shop (from 1.5.6 to 1.7.4) migrating data is not an issue (luckly) but I had to reproduce functionalities
    one of them is the extension of the object customer
    just adding some field for GDPR compliance (european law for privacy)
    Mickaël Andrieu
    @mickaelandrieu
    you have free GDPR module in 1.7 for that :+1:
    once you are in 1.7, look for GDPR in module manager: you will find a free module provided by PrestaShop
    web-fu
    @web-fu
    seriously?
    100% sure
    (i'm part of the core team BTW)
    web-fu
    @web-fu
    With this, can I add checkboxes in registration / account to allow my customer to flag if they want to be contacted by phone / istant messages / etc?
    Mickaël Andrieu
    @mickaelandrieu
    I'm not sure, I doesn't know this module very well
    the best you can do is to install the module and see if it fits your needs
    web-fu
    @web-fu
    Make it easier for their customers to give their consent by adding a consent confirmation checkbox to different forms of your store (account creation, newsletter subscription, etc.). You will be able to customize the consent request message for each checkbox and refer to the CMS page of your choice to give more information to your customers.
    Mickaël Andrieu
    @mickaelandrieu
    but for sure the module is compliant with GDPR
    web-fu
    @web-fu
    seems yes
    Mickaël Andrieu
    @mickaelandrieu
    good :+1:

    hey there, I'm trying to write a presta module and my google fu seems quite weak today, is there any extensive documentation on module config input types? https://devdocs.prestashop.com/1.7/modules/creation/adding-configuration-page/#diving-in-displayform is very helpful but I'd lke to know what types beside 'text' I can use
    Anthony Girard
    @antho-girard
    Hi @pjakubik_gitlab,
    you can take a look at the file themes/default/template/helpers/form/form.tpl located in the admin directory
    you'll find input types here (look for $input.type occurences) and how to use them

    If you want to join, please read this document
    https://github.com/PrestaShop/open-source/tree/master/slack
    everything is explained and the link to obtain an invitation is available.

    PrestaShop rooms will soon be closed to allow all conversations happen in Slack.
