by the way, this is for VoxelMap, in particular it uses the name[k1=v1,k2=v2] format, but it might be useful for minecraft-data too

I meant, net.minecraft.data.Main only exists in recent snapshots, not in 1.12
oh I see, no that code is running on top of forge's setupDecompWorkspace
ie. it grabs the mapping at "runtime" (not really running the game, just simulating that by running the bootstrap which sets up the internal ids)
