Hello ! Is anyone know how physics works in a multiplayer game ? the collisions must be tested on the server ? Thanks.
it's tested on both the client and the server
the server just makes sure the client isn't "cheating" when it gives its position
Thanks ! I'm making a pong game, and the ball is moved by the server (and the position is sended to clients), and if a ball touch a player, the ball bounce, so I need to detect collisions, but it's strange, which player will detect the collisions ? Why not only the server ?
