Tudor Bărăscu
@tudorbarascu
no worries :)
Matthias Kuhn
@m-kuhn
It would be sad to miss the nice symbology
Tudor Bărăscu
@tudorbarascu
yes, just push it.. as a rule of thumb, several hours after you're going to push.. the new VM will be available
Matthias Kuhn
@m-kuhn
If it's a script we can put it on travis
Tudor Bărăscu
@tudorbarascu
if there are no problems when doing the tests of course
Matthias Kuhn
@m-kuhn
but only if it does not take more than 30 minutes
Tudor Bărăscu
@tudorbarascu
the script for building works, but the problem is that I need to manual test stuff first.
Matthias Kuhn
@m-kuhn
Would be nice to automate these tests
Tudor Bărăscu
@tudorbarascu
I have though of this, and I'm building a script for doing so
Matthias Kuhn
@m-kuhn
Now that we have the datamodel dumps online and ready to import in travis/postgis it would be easy to run some tests on qgepplugin
Would be cool if you did it as unittests for nosetests in the qgepplugin repository
we could let travis do the appropriate steps to restore the required database automatically
Tudor Bărăscu
@tudorbarascu
I've never done it, but I will investigate on how to do it and get back to you if I encounter any problems
Matthias Kuhn
@m-kuhn
Tudor Bărăscu
@tudorbarascu
For now, my main concern is migrating from an ugly project to qgep; + upgrading the documents plugin to fit the presentation needs; I will put the tests for travis in the queue
Matthias Kuhn
@m-kuhn
Sure thing
Tudor Bărăscu
@tudorbarascu
and I also want to put a qgis web client demo in the VM; hopefully I can do everything quick
Matthias Kuhn
@m-kuhn
Anyway, I'll be happy to support you if you get to it, I know travis and the unittest infrastructure a bit
And I would love to have more of that in this project
Tudor Bărăscu
@tudorbarascu
Ok, I will let you know ;) Thanks!
are you planning to go to the next QGIS meeting in Gran Canaria?
Matthias Kuhn
@m-kuhn
No doubt
Tudor Bărăscu
@tudorbarascu
I will probably be there also if you guys also come so that we can.. mingle..
Nice! :) I saw the latest datamodel now. Testing and building the VM now.
Matthias Kuhn
@m-kuhn
Cool, looking forward to that!
Tudor Bărăscu
@tudorbarascu
Don't see any difference in symbology between the yesterdays project and the latest one
To what should I draw my attention on?
Matthias Kuhn
@m-kuhn
Do you have blue manhole circles?
or just the ugly pink ones
symbology in vw_qgep_cover
Tudor Bărăscu
@tudorbarascu
manholes_symbology.png
Matthias Kuhn
@m-kuhn
looks good
symbology restored
on the left there's a pink circle
with yesterday's model everything looked like that
in the special structure
Tudor Bărăscu
@tudorbarascu
ok... this was on account of the datamodel, not because of the qgs project, right?
Matthias Kuhn
@m-kuhn
right
we have triggers in the db to update it
I worked on them (they are fast now!)
But forgot to re-enable them after some testing
So the symbology did not update
Tudor Bărăscu
@tudorbarascu
Ok, super nice.. tests went ok.. building now.. 70 mins till updated vm online
brb, moving from office to home
Matthias Kuhn
@m-kuhn
nice
just sent it to the internship
Tudor Bărăscu
@tudorbarascu
nice; I hope that tomorrow catches us with a working qgis-web-client install
Matthias Kuhn
@m-kuhn
keep me posted!
Tudor Bărăscu
@tudorbarascu
will do
Tudor Bărăscu
@tudorbarascu
I'll configure QWC in EPSG 21781 so that it fits everything, if you think that the web part should be in mercator, please say so
