@REBELinBLUE
Just looking at it now actually :D
Gether Medel
@skeith69
so that was my problem lol
I'll be contributing to this project in the future :D
I find this app really awesome cause I'm also a Laravel Dev.
so I really wanted to use this badly instead of other CI hahaah
its the only laravel deployment app out there except of course for forge haha
OH!! BTW @REBELinBLUE I also noticed a small bug
I'll printscreen it wait
Capture.PNG
the word is llama
it doesn't read the letters after the first "l"
Stephen Ball
@REBELinBLUE
How strange! If you view the source of the page is it there?
Gether Medel
@skeith69
no also it just a single "l"
I'll screen shot it
Stephen Ball
@REBELinBLUE
very odd. Can you raise an issue on github so I don't forget to look at it
Gether Medel
@skeith69
sure will do
Capture.PNG
here is the url when I clicked it
Gether Medel
@skeith69
@REBELinBLUE the web hook url is giving errors
it just says Whoops, looks like something went wrong.
I used Postman
and curl gave the same error
Stephen Ball
@REBELinBLUE
hmm
this time, what is in the fpm-cgi log?
Gether Medel
@skeith69
I'll try flushing everything and restart the queue:worker and server if it still persist
an hour ago it was working
Stephen Ball
@REBELinBLUE
btw, you can view the logs at /admin/logs
Gether Medel
@skeith69
sure wait
Gether Medel
@skeith69
the web hook url worked after I changed the deployer permissions to www-data:www-data
the doing cache:clear
then*
before it was ubuntu www-data
will I still give you the logs at /admin/logs?
Stephen Ball
@REBELinBLUE
it could be useful to see the logs still, not sure why the webhook was failing with those permissions yet the main page was working
Gether Medel
@skeith69
@REBELinBLUE sorry late reply I fell asleep hahaha
BTW where can I find the /admin/logs
Stephen Ball
@REBELinBLUE
I meant you can view the logs online just by going to /admin/logs i.e. if deployer is at http://localhost/deployer then http://localhost/deployer/admin/logs will show the logs

@REBELinBLUE can I ask if you could add a new token getting the previous latest release?
cause I wanted to transfer the images on the previous latest to the latest
Stephen Ball
@REBELinBLUE
I can look into it, but this sounds like exactly what the files > persistent files feature is for, for setting up folders & files which should persist across releases. Also, if you are copying files manually you probably want to do it as a "Before Activate" command as you couldn't want the release made live if the copy failed, so you would be able to use something like cp -R /var/www/project/current/path/to/images/* /var/www/project/releases/{release}/path/to/images
Gether Medel
@skeith69
I'll try the command.
cause the system is saving new data with images always that are being used dynamically. so the images folder is growing and I wanted to copy the existing files to the new release
Im making a mini cms..
I'll try what you suggested 😊
thank you
btw your app is damn good.
its better than phpci or any other ci
Gether Medel
@skeith69
@REBELinBLUE it worked thank you
Gether Medel
@skeith69
@REBELinBLUE BTW about the persistent files and folders
how can I add a files? cause its just name and folder
Stephen Ball
@REBELinBLUE
It's name and path, so if you enter the path to a file it'll symlink that. However, normally it is unlikely that the website will modify a specific file rather than say files in a specific directory. So if it is just for config, i.e. laravel's .env file you can set it up as a "configuration file" which will create the file on each release.
