data_availability reads from the database, so the scan_archive procedure actually works perfectly fine

the plot doesn't read from the files, but from the DB
nope, no error in sight, just crappy logging verbosity

test the next step, the msnoise new_jobs --init
it should insert some jobs
once done, it'll say "inserting N jobs"
