@Dorus I have been browsing internet over 6 hours now looking for an Python asyncio in Java, a C gloop in Java, call it a way to properly do async stuff... and I have found nothing but Rx and Goro. I just can't now agree with "not because you can do it in Rx you should do it in Rx"
I mean, apart from the obvious stuff, flows in the app will go in Rx for me
Rx gives me kindof python generators

@txomon I think java 8 has streams that do synchronize operations, where Rx is for async stuff. Like in C# you would use IEnumerable in that case. However, as soon as async calls are involved, pretty much the case if your flow start from a button press, and that button press is an event, Rx would be the preference.

@Dorus this just makes me wonder why Java has been so outdated for so much time, I mean, gloop existed a lot of time ago... not having a way to make concurrent stuff is just pfff

Oh i agree, java is very outdated. To compensate they have much more powerful IDE
at least Java 8 plugs some of the more obvious holes.
Even then im running into limitations of the type system now and then, something i didn't have in C#

yeah, I mean, I don't have limitations on C xD
but it makes me feel extremely powerless
