    Hello @rjendoubi Kindly give us a couple of days to get back to you with more details on the contributor license agreement
    rjendoubi
    @rjendoubi
    Thanks team. One other question which has come up is around pen teating
    rjendoubi
    @rjendoubi
    Sorry, “pen testing”, and various more specific security related queries. Has Rintagi had any independent testing done which we could point to? And do the commercial support options include any kind of assurance / liability coverage for security breaches?
    Rintagi Development Team
    @rintagi-team
    Hello Ryan, Sorry for the belated reply. The Contributor License Agreement is attached. The security features of Rintagi and its generated applications have been tested by major security firms hired by our customers. However, Rintagi is provided as-is depicted in the license agreement https://github.com/Rintagi/Low-Code-Development-Platform/blob/master/LICENSE

    Just started with your application. The RC Installer a few questions: 1) Prototype seems to be only option, Production disabled. Namespace fom: RO to RO is disabled - is this always the case ? 3) Adding a field to Customer table via the application is not persisted to the database, adding via SQL server will work and refresh the application when synchronized. 4) Can you use uniqueidentifier data type ? 5) Are you always locked in to Crystal reports and if so is there intent / timeline to update to latest version 6) If I have existing database can that be used, if not the artifacts imported to generated database - it uses custom schemas will they be recognised ?

    The error 1566 can be easily fixed:
    Simply create the mentioned "ReleaseNote.txt" and "License.txt" in the given Folder Names. They are needed for the installer, as they show your License and Release Information during installation of your own created software. So it is up to you to create your own license agreement.
    @MagPie51367689_twitter In the first installation of Rintagi the Namespace RO and the prototype installation is the only option - that is correct.
    When you finished this installation and you login for the first time, you will be able to create a new installation with different namespace and production or development level. Simply follow the user manual, where installation and first steps are explained.
    Adding or changing a field in the database with Rintagi is easy. All changes are made in a temporary table, which you must synchronize to the Database itself. Check the buttons on the right side of the data tier management tool. They show "Synchronize from DB" and "Synchronize TO db".

    I didn't get Rintagi to run with Visual Studio 2017.
    The Problem about it is as follows: Visual Studio for CR Version 13.0.20 (prerequisite for Rintagi) does NOT run with VS 2017.
    Higher Releases above 13.0.20 (e.g. 13.0.22) do not run with Rintagi and produce lots of errors.

    Simply download Community Edition of VS 2013 and install CR 13.0.20 and errors are gone.

    I have two questions: 1. What is the process for updating an existing Rintagi installation to the latest version? 2. With regard to SQL Server dbs: Is the XXCmon db intended to be built out to contain all of the application's tables or can/should the Cmon db be kept separate from, for instance, a legacy database? Can the Cmon dbs be renamed? I have reviewed the screens in Maintenance, specifically Systems Maintenance where it seems access to another database can be configured. I haven't found any detailed information in the User Guide on the subject. Thanks for any guidance.
    Rintagi Development Team
    @rintagi-team
    @e-m-geiger Hello , Apologies for the late response. 1. The download version will be given in the rintagi.com website and will be needed to be applied on the application developed. This will bring the application to the latest update.
    1. The Cmon database that is created initially cannot be renamed and the tables that are created and the columns cannot be changed, but new tables can be created and also new columns can be added for the tables created in Cmon Database.
    The system maintenance screen allows you to create new modules from rintagi. and you can sync this to the physical database. The system will create the database for this new module.

    What are the limitations of the Free - Community license?

    @rintagi-team

    What are the limitations of the Free - Community license?

    Hi Christopher, Thank you for your question. The Community version of Rintagi offers nearly all features as the Professional and Enterprise packages. The differences are in the number of environments that are provided and the end-user production capacity. The Community package offers a Development environment, whereas the Professional and Enterprise packages offer additional dedicated environments that you can deploy for testing or production. You can refer to the details here: https://www.rintagi.com/pricing.aspx.

    Let us know if you need any more help.

    Hi @domdanao Currently,native apps cannot be generated .

    Also, no MacOS version of the studio?

    The answer is no. You can develop the client side in Mac, but the server side must be in a windows machine.

    @rintagi-team
    With regards to native apps, kindly check tool like Expo , which can help with the replacement of React Web(PWA generated) with React Native(pure UI portion) . The generated service layer and Redux layer(of client side) and server API will help achieve your Native app goals.
