managing the spell checker / thesaurus and plugins probably my next goal
the 2 different plug in managers look intimidating

managing plugins you can just use vim-plug
it's pretty easy to use.
P...V?

HE Chong

just try vim-plug. It's pretty good. Or vim-bundle, I haven't try, but I heard it's good.

I'm having a confusion with the .vim folder
this has hapened at least twice already
if i readlink -f .vim it will show /home/z/.vim
but sudo cd .vim does not work
and nautilius doesn't even show the .vim even when showing hidden folders
so little by little i make progress in VIM LOL
HE Chong
@Ron89
May 30 2017 13:09
just cd ~/.vim
vim is in your user $HOME
and why do you need sudoto access?
Cyric
@Cyric263
May 30 2017 13:09
no such file or directory
HE Chong
@Ron89
May 30 2017 13:10
then it's not in your user's home folder
Cyric
@Cyric263
May 30 2017 13:10
ahhh
readlink -f .vim shows /home/z/.vim
i could uninstall it and reinstall it
HE Chong
@Ron89

readlink is just used to trace symbolic link
but yah, if you are not z, z could have removed it.
just create your own.
