funny
the instructions said to make a .vim directory haha so id id
lets go ahead and make a spell directory inside vim
now if i add this to .vimrc it might set up the spellfire
:set spellfile=~/.vim/spell/en.utf-8.add
omg it worked!
lol
that was too funny
just add to create the directories
but it looked like .vim was there when it wasnt

so it highlights the word
but if i try to zg... it still leaves the word highlighted
it's a miracle its working
it was the peer pressure... LOL
and the highlighting disappears after zg

First, you should never be root in daily use
second, please use soft link only when necessary, especially if you don't know what it is.
third, your home directory is refered to as ~/ or $HOME, don't assume system will know you refer to it when you didn't explicitly specify. By default if no root folder is given, the path will be assumed to be tracked from your current working directory (relative path).
zg is to add the word into customized dictionary

@Cyric263, to install Vim-plug, just run the curl command and create a Vim-plug section in your vimrc. If you want to install only thesaurus_query your plug-section would look like:

call plug#begin()

Plug 'ron89/thesaurus_query.vim'

call plug#end()

After that you need either restart vim or source your vimrc with :source $MYVIMRC. Now, just run :PlugInstall and that's it.

If you decide to take a another route, keep in mind that Shougo/neobundle.vim has been deprecated. In instead, Shougo has created Shougo/dein.vim which has a good support.
And by the way, @Ron89
thank you very much for thesaurus_query! From a daily user. ;)
