@StevenLiekens
is anyone up?
Steven Liekens
@StevenLiekens
tfsvc.png
I'm not sure how to disable this
Steven Liekens
@StevenLiekens
okay I disabled it
uhm
I have an idea
okay so I pushed a "maintenance" branch for no specific version
thought it is currently on track for version 1.4.0
I can see that they're still working on updating the API for the expansion
Christopher London
@Sicarius154
Yeah. They're still making a lot of changes to features in the expansion so they may be holding off for a while.
Christopher London
@Sicarius154
Is there anything you would like me to work on? Really want to help on this but have no idea where to start as have never worked on anything with others before.
Steven Liekens
@StevenLiekens
can you see if #27 is up-to-date with all HoT changes so far?
missing mappings are the biggest pain point right now
Christopher London
@Sicarius154
Sure, I will check that out ASAP. It may be Friday depending if I have an assignment to do but I'll try to get it sorted later.
Robert Logiewa
@Ruhrpottpatriot
I found no additional things for #27 when I was looking tuseday
Steven Liekens
@StevenLiekens
okay thanks :)
so what do you want to do about the fixes that are already implemented?
Steven Liekens
@StevenLiekens
I changed chat link converters to Marshal byte arrays to objects
so now it's more of a push-model
StevenLiekens/GW2.NET@20adafe
the old converters used a BinaryReader that pulls values from the byte array
I bet this is closer to how the game client handles chat links
Steven Liekens
@StevenLiekens
@Ruhrpottpatriot let's close #27, push 1.4 and create a new issue for missing mappings in 1.4 when the API gets updated for the expansion?
Steven Liekens
@StevenLiekens
crickets
I guess we wait until the dust has settled
Steven Liekens
@StevenLiekens
@Ruhrpottpatriot I finally got what I wanted
guild emblem endpoints
Robert Logiewa
@Ruhrpottpatriot
Nice
BTW: I was down with the Flu for the last days, so I couln't release anything. Is the current 1.4 branch ready to release, or do we need to change something still?
Steven Liekens
@StevenLiekens
I haven't pushed everything yet
Robert Logiewa
@Ruhrpottpatriot
ah ok
I'm still not totally up my feet, so there is no rush
if you get it up tomorrow I'll try to get something out, but no promises
Steven Liekens
@StevenLiekens
okay
it's fine
Robert Logiewa
@Ruhrpottpatriot
On another note: I'm more and more fond of the new ASP.NET5 Project system
Steven Liekens
@StevenLiekens
focus on getting better
Robert Logiewa
@Ruhrpottpatriot
We still don't have support for Analyzers, but that is not such a big problem
Everything else is just great, including the built in DI support
Steven Liekens
@StevenLiekens
I looked at some of the new project templates but they feel unfinished
especially the nuget library templates
Robert Logiewa
@Ruhrpottpatriot
a) Look at the RC1 which came out a fewa days ago
b) I'm talking more about ASP.NET Class library
not the Web Application templates
Steven Liekens
@StevenLiekens
yeah that's the one
hold on
