    Hello there @bruno-medeiros !
    I'd like to thank you for RustDT
    It's probably the smoothest IDE for Rust so far
    emacs, atom, vim. I've tried plugging racer to them according to https://areweideyet.com/ and RustDT wins!

    @cengizIO thx, glad to hear!

    Hi all, I'm having a little trouble with my build, and I'm not finding any info online. I wanted to check I'm not doing something stupid before raising an issue ticket.
    The build terminates with error code 0, but the executable fails to launch. All executables in the output folder have what looks like hashes in the name, e.g. tutorial01-6897783ea022e17d.exe; is this an incorrectly configured project?
    Bruno Medeiros
    @bruno-medeiros
    @michael-hart Did you create the project using cargo init ? If so, your project should be a library crate, which does not have a (non-test) executable. That executable with the hash on it is likely to be the executable for the tests of the your crate's lib target.

    I see. I will test without cargo init when I'm back from work, thank you for your response!
    Bruno Medeiros
    @bruno-medeiros
    Yeah without cargo init, RustDT will create a hello world project (with a executable target)

    Hello, I'm actually new to Eclipse and am trying to get Rust DT going, I'm wondering if anyone knows how to help or where to go for help?
    I get to the target definition part, and when I click set as target platform I get a bunch of errors
    and Project>Build All is disabled
    Noofbiz
    @Noofbiz
    hm it looks like build automatically was selected and it's just building on its own
    Bruno Medeiros
    @bruno-medeiros
    @Noofbiz you mean you are trying to setup a development environment for making RustDT contributions? (and/or check how it works)
    Noofbiz
    @Noofbiz
    Yeah, I got it working though. It was just the auto build was checked. Thanks!

    I see that support for Eclipse Neon landed; are you going to make a release supporting Neon anytime soon?
    Bruno Medeiros
    @bruno-medeiros
    The current release of RustDT already supports Neon, just not CDT 9.0 yet
    But there should be an updated release soon (with CDT Neon support, that is, CDT 9.0)
    rocallahan
    @rocallahan
    Ah I see. Thanks!

    Hi all. Today found that I could not update RustDT.

    Cannot complete the install because one or more required items could not be found.
      Software being installed: RustDT 0.6.2.v201607021153 (com.github.rustdt.feature.group 0.6.2.v201607021153)
      Missing requirement: RustDT 0.6.2.v201607021153 (com.github.rustdt.feature.group 0.6.2.v201607021153) requires 'org.eclipse.cdt.gnu.dsf.feature.group [9.0.0,10.0.0)' but it could not be found

    DDT is the same. What am I doing wrong?

    Bruno Medeiros
    @bruno-medeiros
    Oh crap, it seems there is a error with the release site, it only contains the only version of CDT
    in the meawhile, add http://download.eclipse.org/releases/neon as an update site to Eclipse, and then retry the RustDT installation instructions. Make sure "Contact all sites during install to find required software" is checked

    @danger89
    so Eclipse still execute my executable after Rust give a compile error. how to avoid that?
    My build command is simple: ${CARGO_TOOL_PATH} build --verbose
    Bruno Medeiros
    @bruno-medeiros
    Unfortunately, not currently possible to avoid that
