@DoOneFIn Sorry for the late response. Before running the demo locally, could you double check if you have
You could always check if requests were sent to the server by clicking network tab on the developer panel on your browser. The basecamp demo has some extra stuff and might not be a good example to start with. I would recommend you take a look at the cardemo app at https://cardemo.simbachain.com/, which code can be found here https://github.com/SIMBAChain/CarDemo. You can follow the same steps mentioned above, and on step3 you will need to add your API key and URL here https://github.com/SIMBAChain/CarDemo/blob/master/src/store/modules/info.js#L3. The care demo contract is a default contract you can find on simba dashboard under solidity contracts category.
Let me know if it works for you. Thanks
hi @DoOneFIn, the sockjs-node error you saw is related to webpack-dev-server, which does not have any effect on the app you were trying to run. You might want to check if you can get any results back from this request (https://192.168.30.159:8080/v1/carDemo2/car/) from your app. Have you tried to post some data from your local app by clicking the blue button at right bottom corner and filling the form? Please notice that the demo app does not have an empty state, which means you will see the running car animation on the background until there is at least one record fetched.
There are 3 situations you will see the animation
@DoOneFIn Could you try to run the app with the api url and the key below on Chrome? I just deployed this new one with the cardemo2 contract on Quorum network with IPFS. I pulled a new copy from cardemo repo and updated url and key. It worked on my side and I posted a record from the app.
