    hi
    how can i delete an sql lite table
    @mtxr
    Taras Kopets
    @tkopets
    You just issue a DROP TABLE command to delete a table.
    Please see the relevant SQLite docs:
    https://www.sqlite.org/lang_droptable.html
    http://www.sqlitetutorial.net/sqlite-drop-table/

    • Connect to the target DB with SQLTools
    • Write a drop table command. E.g. DROP TABLE example_table;
    • Select this piece of text in Sublime and execute it via ST: Execute (Ctrl+'E'+'E')
    • run a ST: ST: Refresh Connection Data, so the table is removed from the list of tables in SQLTools
    Note: if you drop that table it is not immediately removed from the list of tables in SQLTools, you have to either reconnect to the database ST: Select Connection(Ctrl+Alt+'E')
    or ST: Refresh Connection Data from Sublime Text Command Palette.

    Hi mtxr!

    I have an issue with connection to a firebird database. Sublime says <'isql' could not be found>. I tried setting up the connections on a few devices. Is there any further documentation?
    On the setup example there is the following code:
    "Connection Firebird": {
    "type" : "firebird",
    "host" : "localhost",
    "port" : 3050,
    "username": "sysdba",
    "password": "password",
    // note the forward slashes (if path is used)
    "database": "c:/firebird/examples/empbuild/employee.fdb",
    "encoding": "utf-8"
    }

    My configuration:
    "Connection": {
    "type" : "firebird",
    "host" : "localhost",
    "port" : 3050,
    "username": "SYSDBA",
    "password": "masterkey",
    "database": "D:/firebird/databases/example.fdb",
    "encoding": "utf-8"
    }
    #

    can someone help me?

    @tkopets
    do you see any errors in the status bar and/or Sublime console when you try to select the connection Ctrl-Alt-E(ST: Select Connection) or run a SQL afterwards Ctrl+E+E (ST: Execute) ?
    To open the Python console select View | Show Console in the menu.
    Or press Ctrl-` (Control-backtick)

    Hey Guys, sorry I haven't replied. I was having a hard time before changing the job, completely in a hurry. @tkopets thank you for replying all those messages.
    Also @channel, @tkopets is the currently maintainer of the project, since I moved to VSCode (requirement in my previous job), I've been maintaining just VSCode version since I'm a bit far from sublime text daily usage and updates. Anyway, you can always count on me to keep it going, and @tkopets let me know in case you need any help or just want to talk about the project

    [SQLite] Yesterday it worked....

    to 'refresh' a database I use a file with dot commands. A simple version:

    PRAGMA foreign_keys = OFF;

    DROP TABLE IF EXISTS http_statuscode;

    BEGIN TRANSACTION;
    .read http_statuscode.ddl
    .read http_status_data.sql
    COMMIT;

    PRAGMA temp_store   = 2;
    PRAGMA foreign_keys = ON;
    PRAGMA journal_mode = WAL;

    This results in Error: cannot open "http_statuscode.ddl" SQLite can't find the files. Is there something that should be added somewhere?

    There is nothing set up in the SQLTOOLS connection files and the sublime-project file looks like:

    {
      "connections":
      {
        "Connection SQLite":
        {
          "database": "C:/Users/path/to/my.db3",
          "encoding": "utf-8",
          "type": "sqlite"
        }
      },
      "default": "Connection SQLite",
      "folders":
      [
        {
          "path": "."
        }
      ]
    }

    (on the first 'action' on that database the connection popup appears and asks me to select a connection. I was under the impression that the above would make that unnecessary.)
