Andrea Turli
@andreaturli
"D5.4.3) Final version of s/w platform: Deployment and detailed documentation of the platform. Delivery of test and production environment."
according to that description we don’t need "Short overview of the current architecture (Polimi)"
wdyt?
perezp
@perezp
We need a detailed documentation then? Does it work for you to give the description of the platform through a view of its architecture??
Andrea Turli
@andreaturli
Diego, I don’t have any answers, just trying to understand
perezp
@perezp
I was not looking for an answer; receiving an opinion or a feeling was enough for me :)
Andrea Turli
@andreaturli
If I stick to the words of the DoW we have to describe the deployment and “describe the documentation” but I suspect I’m not getting the intention of the writer

so I’d keep

Deployment and installation scripts (CloudSoft)
Documentation -> copy and paste of all the readme.md file available per component
Testbed (this has already been compiled by Polimi)
Conclusion (Polimi)

@andreaturli

@andreaturli
@/all I’d appreciate whoever wants to test Deploy SeaClouds on BYON (https://github.com/SeaCloudsEU/SeaCloudsPlatform#deploy-seaclouds) on his/her machine
thanks
Andrea Turli
@andreaturli
@/all I’m almost done with D5.4.3 and D6.4.3 - does anybody expect more contributions?
Román SG
@rosogon
@andreaturli : I would send it to the mail list. Not everybody reads gitter.
@andreaturli : Installing vagrant 2.8.1 to test byon
Andrea Turli
@andreaturli
thanks @rosogon
btw I’ve also create a backup video that records the byon installation from scratch. the first installation takes 10 minutes if you have vagrant installed
Román SG
@rosogon
@andreaturli : Byon instructions are maybe not updated. I can't see the video (permissions?) to check the actual procedure.
Román SG
@rosogon
I can select SeaClouds Platform (Seaclouds Platform deployed on a single box). I can't select Next, only "YAML composer", where I should add a location.
Ah, not needed. I only have to click "Deploy" :)
Deploying
Román SG
@rosogon
I can now display the video. Atos proxy.

@andreaturli
@rosogon can you reach http://10.10.10.100:2000/discoverer ?
Román SG
@rosogon
Notice the missing slash in 127.0.0.12000discoverer
Not your fault
Andrea Turli
@andreaturli
yes it is my fault, testing the fixed catalog.bom
thanks for spotting the error, @rosogon
now the planner receives the following env var

Oops, two errors. Missing ':' and '/'
Andrea Turli
@andreaturli
it is ok now
pushing to master
how did you see the error?
I mean, when?
Román SG
@rosogon

Andrea Turli
@andreaturli
http://10.10.10.100:2000/discoverer/fetch_all is valid, but it returns an empty list
Román SG
@rosogon
I was expecting the db not populated.
Andrea Turli
@andreaturli
while parseOfferings complains about NPE
oh, maybe. how do you init that DB?
I guess it should be part of discoverer-db installation, no?
Román SG
@rosogon
Reading also this. No, it's not there.
