Sorry all, I didn't get notified about any messages on this channel since 2/5. Yes, spellcheck shouldn't be a problem. That should be included if we go the CMS/API route of using Scalar or similar API enabled CMS. If we have to roll our own CMS, then we'd probably use TinyMCS as that's what everyone uses. All browsers these days also include spell checkers, regardless of the type of text editor embedded in a page.
@bhaugen in regard to highly graphical javascript stuff, I have experience with AmCharts and data visualization. I have no problem doing that stuff. If someone comes along and can contribute effort in that area, they are welcome too as well.

Data viz will be on the near-term roadmap, I am sure.
I've just been plugging data into google charts, which are limited.
The stuff I was wondering about was network visualization: directed graphs, gantt charts, sankey diagrams.
d3.js type stuff.

I haven't looked at it. If it's JavaScript, I can learn it though.

I've played around incompetently with some of that.
A couple of other people have pitched in, too.
But we never did anything really useful.
The closest to useful is the radial org graphs, but they are out of control for Sensorica, too.
Too many nodes.
Thus our interest in https://github.com/holodex/holodex - which Mikey and Simon are starting to work on again.
Fits the NRP org model.
But, not to worry, data viz will be the first priority, which you probly have well in hand.

Right now I'm just focused on basic functionality. Yesterday I got the code improved that controls communication between the NRP API and Backbone. I also implemented infinate scrolling in the People demo that I sent out. Next I'm going to work on the Project page and duplicating a lot of the effort I've put into the People page. From there, I want to work on logging time through the UI.
I also need to work on updating data through the API. Right now it's just read-only.
That should be pretty simple though once I get the other functionality working.

Sorry, I meant data viz will be the first priority for fancy graphics, not the first priority starting now...
which you are on top of!
