@Shifthawke I didn't see any of this. Stick to Intel. AMD is roughly 3-5% behind in performance, which isn't a lot - But their drivers are awful. Stick to nVidia and Intel. No ATI/AMD.
AMD has 'more cores' (They have 12-core processors relatively cheap) but those 12-core processors are equivalent to a Quad-core hyperthreaded i7, but still lag behind.

My laptop actually runs both nvidia GE force 745m and intel I think. IT uses the intel until It needs he nvidia. I think I will stick with intel and the Nvidia solely for my graphics card.

Yea, i5 typically means '4 cores' (Dual-core hypthertreaded) and i7 typically means '8 cores' (Quad-core hyperthreaded). Some exceptions, but i7 is generally what laptops have due to losing a lot of power in the conversion.
