    @pzurek - also if you wouldn't mind checking out the quick sample i threw together for new vend developers/partners to get oauth creds going, it'd be nice :)
    Pulkit Singhal
    @pulkitsinghal
    @pzurek - thanks for the fix in the readme
    Piotr Zurek
    @pzurek
    hey,
    yeah, I corrected that but still didn't manage to get it to work
    Pulkit Singhal
    @pulkitsinghal
    @pzurek - i noticed that the jshint files used to syntax check were missing, i cloned again locally and it worked, let me know if u try again and it stills doesn't work
    Piotr Zurek
    @pzurek
    perfect! Just got it working. Nicely done! :clap:
    I would also add the note about the redirect uri to the readme
    Pulkit Singhal
    @pulkitsinghal
    @pzurek - i added the redirectUri info to the RUN section:
    https://github.com/ShoppinPal/vend-oauth-example/blob/master/README.md#run
    also, if you can think of other folks that would like to dabble or contribute, please point them this way
    Piotr Zurek
    @pzurek
    yeah, definitely. if someone asks about a good example of OAuth implementation I'll send them your way
    Pulkit Singhal
    @pulkitsinghal
    thanks :)

    @pzurek
    of course, once API 2.0 goes public I hope you'll switch to that and then we can treat your node client as the recommended node library
    Pulkit Singhal
    @pulkitsinghal
    unless meteor hits, that's what i intend to do
    Piotr Zurek
    @pzurek
    :-)
    Pulkit Singhal
    @pulkitsinghal
    @pzurek - also added refresh token functionality
    Pulkit Singhal
    @pulkitsinghal
    @srisub - i added a json viewer to display the results of a basic fetch products call ... this is all usign oauth ofcourse
    Pulkit Singhal
    @pulkitsinghal
    @pzurek - the underlying shoppinpal/vend-nodejs-sdk module now handles 429 response codes for rate limiting ... thanks for your help in getting the mock test for this together which can be found in the ShoppinPal/vend-oauth-example itself, README has details
    Piotr Zurek
    @pzurek
    And I have just directed the first person trying to use OAuth to this repo. We'll see if it helps them. :smile:
    Pulkit Singhal
    @pulkitsinghal
    thanks @pzurek, it helps that you've already sanity tested the module once and @srisub is in the process of sanity testing it again right now ... with that I hope that folks will find this to be a productive use of their time :)

    @pzurek
    I fired up the latest version yesterday and it looks really cool. I really like seeing the JSON output and the logs make it pretty clear what is going on
    Pulkit Singhal
    @pulkitsinghal
    Piotr I'm very happy to hear that!
    Pulkit Singhal
    @pulkitsinghal
    @srisub - thanks for your inputs, the README has been updates, plus i re-re-cloned the project and started from scratch and all went well ... i probably don't need to send a new user to the #/done page anymore as the #/home page has more options available after getting the refresh token ... I'll tweak this today or 2morrow
    Pulkit Singhal
    @pulkitsinghal
    @pzurek - thanks to the quick turnaround time on the answers you gave for oauth access token ... Now the SDK has retries built into it ! Oauth example leverages it too, just mess up ur access token before you try to see it in action
    Pulkit Singhal
    @pulkitsinghal
    @meghay - if you want to contribute and have any Qs, we can discuss them in this public community room rather than gchat
    Pulkit Singhal
    @pulkitsinghal
    @pzurek - I think compared to basic-authN when dev could just go at it ... now there's a huge friction point with the oauth handshake ... which I guess services like runscope solve ... nevermind I had a point where I was going to encourage you to contribute to ShoppinPal/vend-oauth-example#7 ... but I don't think so anymore :D
    Pulkit Singhal
    @pulkitsinghal
    @pzurek - a community contributor is working on setting up a website to host this example so vend partners/vendors/customers can all just click through to figure out their tokens as part of getting started ... look forward to the update sometime this week
