Hi all, I want to use SHA function in Sming . should I just copy sha1.c and sha1.h in libraries ? What changes needs to be done in Makefile? If i want to implemetn in UDK , what changes needs to made

@donnib maybe flash is corrupt
You can check this by yourselve.
Desolder flash solder new one and we will know whats it.
It could happen I read about this on web somewhere.
@ystrem can you test adc? Is there ethernet on board?

@crosofg : there is already some "sha1" in sming, see webhelpere/sha1...
Is that enough for your usage ?

I am unable to get the code for gdb fatal: Refusing to fetch into current branch refs/heads/develop of non-bare repository using "git fetch https://github.com/SmingHub/Sming.git pull/350/head:develop" - can this code be made into pr so I can try to use it on my mac?? or how to do this?
@zhivko can u do a small video on how to actually get to the chip below the matal casing in order to desolder it, I tried, but was not able to remove the metal case around the esp 8266 chips

You would need hot air solder station.

@ystrem @hreintke I just bought: http://www.ebay.de/itm/401009510208?_trksid=p2057872.m2749.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT, ADS1115 adc from texas instruments seems to be super simple and this whole little pcb price in europe is around 5€.
If it is sufficiently precise I will not complicate with ltc2440 that does not support 3.3V levels by the way.

@zhivko yep I think so
I bought this one 2x http://www.ebay.com/itm/191346024531 and then I found that it has different driver this one SDFP5408

@alon24 :
You should do the pull in a new branch and not in develop -> pull/350/head:newbranch.
Then merge newbranch into develop.
Thx to @robotiko who explained this to me yesteday

I connected my esp to the wifi router for two days. Its is configured to both station and AP mode. After two days, although it has been assigned IP, the tcp and udp server stop responding(no reply). But as soon as I connect to the AP formed, the esp replies. if I restart the esp than everything becomes functional again
What could the possible problems be ?

hey anyone out there can help me with why this doesn't work:
String res = buffer;
Debug.printf("buffer: %s", res);

@piperpilot may be you should change Debug.printf("buffer: %s", res.c_str());

whats the most efficient way to read a large file from SPIFFS? I see FileSystem, DataSourceStream, etc. I need to process a large HEX file 122224 bytes in size (could get bigger). I'm writing a boot loader for a PIC and need to read each line, break it up into 64 byte chunks and send it out. Any suggestions are appreciated!

@donnib I have quite regularly the same issue, I but after some tries it works again, I think it has to do with i/o-pins connected to other things interfering with the bootloader, after removing most of the things connected to my module it usually works again.

@ystrem xcode version?
I'ts confirmed build with 6.2 I think
why don't you want to use a binary?
@piperpilot what do you mean, I have a mac:)
I just care about people here.
@alonewolfx2 I'm trying to find a consistent way of building things, since it somehow only sometimes breaks in the middle of nowhere

Crosofg: try output heap to serial and monitor this over 2days. Maybe you run out of heap?
crosofg
@crosofg
Dec 10 2015 20:44
if that is the case, then what could be the solution? I will implement it beforehand and then check for heap..

Dec 10 2015 20:46
You maybe need some proper destructors in code or make object=null. Just to consider.
crosofg

Dec 10 2015 20:46
ok. I will log the heap and see
