I want to swap over to Sming - RTOS, is there a virtual machine I can download?

I was hoping for a VM because I had trouble setting up my Linux box to build my sming projects under Ubuntu. I couldnt find 1.3 RTOS sdk, so I downloaded 1.4 and got many duplicate declarations etc, all sad . . .and unsuccessful. . .

SmingRTOS works with both 1.4 & 1.3 SDK's without source changes.

If you have a working Sming environment you "only" need to :

  • Clone/download SmingRTOS
  • Download Espressif RTOS SDK 1.4.0
  • Set env variable for the above locations
  • Remove your user_config.h

Then it should work.
