question: since I now got my http://www.electrodragon.com/product/wifi-iot-relay-board-based-esp8266/ relay board, I want to do push OTA (http), is that now possible with sming-RTOS?
The thing has the reset button tooclose to the main (220v) input for my liking

"Invalid head of packet" .. did one of my flash ICs died again? It's far away from 100 cycles.. or is there also an other cause for this error ?

@alon24 :
I do have a ftp push option close to ready on SmingRTOS. Does need some work and will afterwards be adapted to work similar to the http_update. Will be pushing that to a feature branch today or monday.
@alon24
I worked with a MCP23017 on RTOS with the NONOS MCP23017 library. Only adapted the include to match RTOS.
If you can do that and than PR would be nice.

Any idea what it could be?

ok.. found the problem.. some strange behaviour with the switched mode power supply, the usb connection to the pc and the new breadboard.

@alonewolfx2 added some extra uF directly near the module (330uF) and checked the breadboard contacts. I've one of these cheap things. It looks like some contacts are not cleaned good enough and had some serious resistance. Also made sure i have a low impedance connection between the USB ground and the PSU ground.
the only trouble that is left seems a wrong init sequence with my SD02A1 TFT display ;)
