Hey everyone...running into a new problem with the latest SMING. I am getting a full ESP reset after some time on hardwareSerial. I have narrowed it down that if I don't send serial TO the esp, it runs forever...but with consistant inbound serial, it will reset the device within an hour or less. The problem is, there is no error, dump, anything...it just resets without any indication of the problem. Has anyone run into anything like this? I am using serial processor very similar to basicSerial SerialReadingDelegateDemo.h

@slaff looks like you were the one to refactor all of the HardwareSerial. Any idea what would trigger this behavior? I'm going to see if I can come up with a simple way to reproduce it...right now it just takes time watching my app, but it is very consistant.

I guess one thing that has changed in the HardwareSerial implementation that doesn't seem to be addressed in the examples is that it doesn't look like the delegate gets called on every character...so there is a possibility for things to get out of sync and the last char to not be the string delimiter or "\n" in the case of the serialDemo. This might be what is hosing up my application...I might be getting a buffer/variable overrun or something.
