@R3cycl0r Once you have added sming to the list or repositories run choco install -y sming without the other options. We have updated the Wiki to reflect this issue and there is also a ticket related to that #1241. Give it a try.

@R3cycl0r Can you try again typing choco install -y sming? The spiffy package was missing in the "new" sming repository.

Installed:
 - 7zip.commandline v16.02.0.20170209
 - mingw v5.3.0
 - 7zip.portable v16.04
 - spiffy v1.0.4
 - mingw-get v1.0.2
 - sming.core v3.3.0
 - esp8266-udk v2.1.0
Sming.core, esp8266-udk v2.1.0 and mingw-get packages were installed so you are good to go. As far as I can see from the logs eclipse failed to install but that is more of an optional package that gives you C/C++ IDE. You can try and install your favorite C/C++ IDE without relying on sming to do that for you.

what do you suggest to do with this so?

Just use your already installed Eclipse and import the projects from the samples directory. May be we also should remove eclipse as dependency for sming since IDEs are always a "taste" choice.

Samples should be part of sming.core.
As far as I can see sming.examples is trying to automate the import of the examples in Eclipse for you.

@slaff may I ask you what is the exact procedure to include all the necessary files/libraries in the eclipse environment to get a "ready to go" project, because I tried till now without results :\ , unfortunaterly I'm quite new in this environment..
Thanks
