    I cannot get the the "picture-urls::(original)". When I try it with Add("picture-urls::(original)") I get "The value should have a opening parenthesis after the colon
    Parameter name: value".

    I tried this "api.Profiles.GetOriginalProfilePicture(user)" as well, but it returns the same picture as WithPictureUrl(),

    @seanrodda the 4.5 assembly is not signed. it looks like I forgot to sign it. it will be fixed in the next build.
    @waltzingalong can you try with other users? i suppose the uploaded picture was too small...

    @sandrock
    @waltzingalong I added a unit test that shows the FieldSelector.Add method should work with the specified parameter. can you show the entire code that throws the exception? https://github.com/SparkleNetworks/LinkedInNET/blob/e4a31675c012176e770ed0f6209f5bfca8deaad3/src/NET35.Sparkle.LinkedInNET.Tests/FieldSelectorTests.cs#L42

    Hi. There is a sample code in the MVC demo project. Those 2 actions get and post and the view. I suggest you try that. If it fails, then come back and say what's wrong.

    hello, i´m using sparkle but i didnt understand this autorization code

    @ivoqop_twitter
    i already solved the problem, it was about my app permisions
    what do i do to get the profile picture in original size? Picture-url only gives me the thumbnail
    SandRock
    @sandrock
    @ivoqop_twitter you may call the client.Profiles.GetOriginalProfilePicture() method. If you get a small picture, maybe the original picture is already small?
    Ivo Queiroz
    @ivoqop_twitter
    i got the original picture and the size was good for me
    thanks @sandrock

    Hi.. I am trying to implement login to LinkedIn with Sparkle.LinkedInNET library. Authentication works perfectly fine. However, when it return to my site, at the end of the URL I get '#!' for example here is one URL: "http://localhost:54427/social-media-profile/18#!" it should look like this: "http://localhost:54427/social-media-profile/18"
    Anyone has expirience the same?

    @VaibhavShinde9 a valid value for argument publicProfileUrl would be a full url (including the protocol). I found SparkleNetworks/LinkedInNET#22 related to that. Please wait for a fix to come.
    @VictorTlepshev_twitter never seen that. can you post your code somewhere? (stackoverflow or a new issue)
    SandRock
    @sandrock
    @VaibhavShinde9 you may now update your nuget reference and try again with a full url (like http://www.linkedin.com/in/jeffweiner08)

    @sandrock I can post the answer here if that is ok with you

    @VictorTlepshev_twitter Hi. I updated the nuget package. Have you tried updating it and tried your code again? Updating the nuget package should work.

    @sandrock
    LinkedIn has a new V2 API. The project might not support the changes. See SparkleNetworks/LinkedInNET#23

    Hi Guys,
    I downloaded the master branch and run your demo MVC app
    everything looks very good, the only one thing is that the call GetConnectionsByProfileId crashes because it is not an authorized call
    is there any solution to this issue?
    Thank you
    SandRock
    @sandrock
    @LTrombin_twitter maybe you API key does not allow this operation?
    Luca Trombin
    @LTrombin_twitter
    @SandRock unfortunately is it not like that because I gave to the API key all the permissions I saw and still I have this issue: Sparkle.LinkedInNET.LinkedInApiException: 'API error (403) Access to connections denied at https://api.linkedin.com/v1/people/id=ZNZQTai2mF/connections:(distance,picture-url,summary,location:(name,country:(code)),industry,id,public-profile-url,first-name,last-name,headline)?start=0&count=10'
    For you this call works?
