    That’s a super simplified request, it had the same error when I included a time range and intersection geojson
    Josh Fix
    @joshfix
    ah, so no, i don’t currently support POSTs to the collections endpoints. i’m actually working on adding that today

    currently only the /stac/search endpoint accepts query params

    Hi everyone, are we still using the same Zoom URL?

    Can't seem to join the meeting.

    Are you in now?

    Hi Josh, yup!

    @hgs-msmith
    @cholmes, here are my topics of interest, prioritized highest to lowest: Asset definition, WFS3/OGC, Query, Non-spatial
    Can you set me up with a zoom URL for the groups that match? Thanks!
    Matthias Mohr
    @m-mohr
    @hgs-msmith We'll probably discuss a bunch of issues combined, like single item, asset defs, extensions supported etc. They are all related to each other...
    Michael Smith
    @hgs-msmith
    @m-mohr, thanks - let me know if what you zoom URL is...

    Hey all, Em from Google here. radiantearth/stac-spec#470

    ^ Just sent this PR for a visualization extension. Example by @simonff_gitlab at https://drive.google.com/file/d/1wTfcmyj7Jh7tb1QYQpr00UWAatEn6b5IpBlPypT7oCg

    @simonff_gitlab
    For context, this is 1-1 translation of the internal Earth Engine visualization schema.
    We don't intend that this becomes the proposal directly - rather, we want to show what we have found useful so far.
    I'd like to align the vis extension with some existing standards that are being used. So far CartoCSS and SLD came up, but I'm happy to look at more.
    Phil Varner
    @philvarner
    @joshfix @matthewhanson I just put up a PR for some changes I'd like to the /stac/search endpoint that would allow it to cover the query use cases that I have, including aggregations radiantearth/stac-spec#475
    Seth Fitzsimmons
    @mojodna
    OpenLayers (using a converter that seems commonly used) and Mapbox GL both support this style spec: https://docs.mapbox.com/mapbox-gl-js/style-spec/

    Tangram includes some pretty powerful raster manipulation too (including shader definitions): https://tangrams.readthedocs.io/en/latest/Overviews/Raster-Overview/

    I'm pulled into exec meeting. Should be back in 45 minutes.

    i remember yesterday someone was talking about the challenge of shipping statistics with stac items, or as assets, or something -- is there ongoing spec work about that located somewhere?

    :wave: i need to head out on east coast time so won't be around for demos. i've basically finished up scala work enabling:

    • POST STAC item
    • get tiles

    A pr is up here: geotrellis/geotrellis-server#122

    And here's a demo:
    (uploading...)

    Coming out of this I'm really interested in integrating the proposed viz extensions and in integrating the EO extension. I'm looking forward to collaborating on that if anyone has a similar interest

    @cholmes
    Phil Varner
    @philvarner
    @jisantuc I'm keen on using those STAC case classes -- maybe they could be broken out into a separate dependency so i don't have to include geotrellis-server (we already use a bunch of other gt dependencies, just not that one)
    Chris Holmes
    @cholmes
    Awesome work @jisantuc! Thanks for contributing remotely! And hopefully you can make it in person next time.
    James Santucci
    @jisantuc
    @philvarner yeah I can manage that. @aaronxsu was doing some work that I think that'd make sense for as well
    I'll split that out tomorrow
    The only concern I have about that is splitting the classes from their typeclass evidence, but it's Scala, so /shrug
    Thanks @cholmes I'd like to I think. How does between-sprint collaboration usually work?
    Josh Fix
    @joshfix
    We have a bi-weekly call, this lobby room in this fitter channel, and the issues in github

    Simon Ilyushchenko
    @simonff_gitlab
    @jisantuc : please feel free to comment on the pull request for the viz extension. My main question now is whether there is something in sufficiently common use that we can start from - I'm not eager to invent another slightly different viz language from scratch.
    daveluo
    @daveluo
    thanks all for the sprint and safe travels! An update re: the label extension, i deployed a new stac browser to view an example catalog of labeled data samples set up per the proposed extension spec: https://stacsprint4-label-demo.netlify.com. Thanks label group for the discussions and working through a lot of ideas pretty thoroughly

    Who were all the sponsors for the Sprint? Wanted to send out a tweet and don't want to miss anyone
    Alireza
    @scisco
    @cholmes is there going to be a medium post about the sprint? Do you need help with that?
    Josh Fix
    @joshfix
    @matthewhanson there is a list of sponsors in the image promoting the happy hour at climate. not sure if that is the complete list that sponsored the whole sprint? https://cdn-images-1.medium.com/max/1600/1*K-7vhBvqgTq51rk9kwjwHw.png
    James Santucci
    @jisantuc
    @philvarner I forgot to mention but the case classes have been split out in geotrellis/geotrellis-server#122. Next release will publish artifacts that you can use
    Phil Varner
    @philvarner
    @jisantuc that's great. I'll try them out next week
    Chris Holmes
    @cholmes
    @matthewhanson - sorry for slow response. But Planet, Climate, Astraea, Azavea, Cosmiq Works and Element84 (the last one didn't make it onto to the happy hour, as they came through at the end).
