I don't think that's possible right now. But an anonymous function is simple to create.
Or am I missing something?
Shauni
@ShauniArima
We're gonna attempt to allow that.
Vijay Bindraban
@VMBindraban
Might be interesting: https://pages.xebia.com/xebia-tech-crunch (meetup)
Roberto Wesley Overdijk
@RWOverdijk
@VMBindraban You're going there?
Vijay Bindraban
@VMBindraban
yea
2 weeks ago they held a react meetup there
Roberto Wesley Overdijk
@RWOverdijk
Cool
Not sure what it's about though
a variety of topics
mhm
Knitting
Pottery
Gardening and how to make purple pasta
Vijay Bindraban
@VMBindraban
Very decent food.. and it's free :P
Roberto Wesley Overdijk
@RWOverdijk
Right but
Topics?
Vijay Bindraban
@VMBindraban
Xebia is organising a TechCrunch on August 30th at their Wibaut office in Amsterdam (the same location as the recent React meetup). It's a free conference-style knowledge event held in the evening, and food is included! Let's get nerdy and dive into a variety of topics: Virtual Reality, Progressive Web Apps, API design and Blockchain.
Roberto Wesley Overdijk
@RWOverdijk
I am working with unity now
So might be nice
Screw it, I'll go
I'll bring Raphaela too
Vijay Bindraban
@VMBindraban
Gezellig

We’re slowly moving from “pure js” to TypeScript and so far we’ve hit two (minor) problems with the AuthService, i.e.
this.authService.authentication.config and this.authService.authentication.storage both produce a red squiggly underneath config and storage. What are we missing/doing wrong?
Roberto Wesley Overdijk
@RWOverdijk
Maybe they're not defined.
I'm currently not working on the plugins because I have a lot of react work, but having good typings would be nice.

When updating to aurelia-authentication 3.8.1 i am getting the following error:
aurelia-authentication.js?cca0:1729 Uncaught (in promise) TypeError: Cannot read property 'origin' of undefined
    at Object.configure (aurelia-authentication.js?cca0:1729)
    at eval (aurelia-framework.js?517a:186)
in:
function configure(frameworkConfig, config) {
  if (!_aureliaPal.PLATFORM.location.origin) { // <=== here
    _aureliaPal.PLATFORM.location.origin = _aureliaPal.PLATFORM.location.protocol + '//' + _aureliaPal.PLATFORM.location.hostname + (_aureliaPal.PLATFORM.location.port ? ':' + _aureliaPal.PLATFORM.location.port : '');
  }
using aurelia-config though.. coming from 3.7.0
Roberto Wesley Overdijk
@RWOverdijk
woa
That's not good
Vijay Bindraban
@VMBindraban
Fixed, it was using aurelia-pal 1.5 instead of 1.8.

@RWOverdijk
Oopsy
Glad you found it

Just starting to integrate Wetland into a project. I was previously using Sequelize, but I like the Unit of Work feature of Wetland. Seems like a really cool library. Working on getting tests up and running. With Sequelize when I want to nuke DB values between tests there's a database.truncate() command that you can use to do that. How would you suggest I do that with Wetland?
agstover
@agstover
I'm guessing manager.getEntities() then iterate over the entities with queryBuilder.remove()
agstover
@agstover
Oh wow, I just now read the section on seeding and see that you can set it to seed cleanly. You guys are awesome!
Roberto Wesley Overdijk
@RWOverdijk
:D
Sorry, I'm at React Native EU
So I'm a bit unresponsive. But I'm glad you found the seeding section. :)
Shauni
@ShauniArima
Hello, is it possible to display form element conditionnaly when it is binded on an entity?
Roberto Wesley Overdijk
@RWOverdijk
@ShauniArima Conditional in what way?
Shauni
@ShauniArima
For example, you want to let the user choose if he want to notified someone by email when something append. So you let the user check a checkbox then the email input appear. Now the user can type the email address he want.
norgie
@norgie
Have you looked at show.bind and its sibling if.bind?
See https://aurelia.io/docs/fundamentals/cheat-sheet#databinding and search for “Templating View Resources”.
Shauni
@ShauniArima
Yes but I'm using aurelia-form to do that.
Roberto Wesley Overdijk
@RWOverdijk
Then you need to make a custom field
Ryan McElroy
@Ryanman
@RWOverdijk how was the conference? Are you guys also working on React native apps? The only exposure I've had to it is through Discord's engineering blog which has been a mixed bag...
Roberto Wesley Overdijk
@RWOverdijk
@Ryanman The conference was great! Thanks for asking. I'm still in Poland enjoying the country for two more days.
