    export ST2_AUTH_TOKEN={token_from_previous_step}
    then st2 run packs.install should work.

    username and password are sadly some defaults. you need to add user if you want to use your name. I recommend using the user testu.
    st2_deploy prints this information at the end of run.
    We don’t want to document this password for various reasons but yeah this can be confusing.

    makes the command line highly unintuitive, since u now have to paste a token everytime
    Lakshmi Kannan
    @lakshmi-kannan
    Nah. You just have to export ST2_AUTH_TOKEN=token once.
    Then you don’t need to pass the token everytime.
    (export step is needed whenever token expires of course)
    We are building out rc file support for CLI so it does token negotiation automatically.

    Let me know if you are unblocked. I recommend using IRC cloud so you get persistent connections. It is paid unfortunately.

    Hi
    When I use the Python runner, the modules I installed with pip are not available. Can I somehow enable them?
    Koen Buddelmeijer
    @koenbud
    Ah figured it out, I created and activated the virtualenv and installed the module from the virtualenv pip binary.
    st2 run packs.setup_virtualenv packs=default
    cd /opt/stackstorm/virtualenvs/default/bin
    source ./activate
    sudo ./pip install module_name
    The pack name "default" is unfortunate though
    Is this the preferred way of doing this?

    Hi All, Im trying to install stackstorm freshly on my machine.
    Im getting following error
    --> ERROR: ('Connection aborted.', error(104, 'Connection reset by peer'))

    what could be the issue? I see that mongodb is able to receive the connection.

    Am I missing something here? any quick help would be much appreciated. Thanks in advance.

    Im running "st2 action list" command
