    If anyone has questions, please ask!!
    Roland Laurès
    @ShamoX
    Is there a user friendly way to add time tracking on gitlab ?
    If I'm correct, your app (which is separated from gitlab - i.e. not a plugin integrated in Gitlab UI) analyse commit logs ?
    Stephen Russett
    @StephenOTT
    There is nothing that is a “plugin” or direct add-in for GitLab
    originally it was supposed to be, but the GitLab group did not want to make modifications to the GitLab Database structure. And for the Time Tracking to be viable on large projects, we need to store the data
    @ShamoX what is your use case for Time Tracking?
    Stephen Russett
    @StephenOTT
    @ShamoX You can also take a look at: https://github.com/randx/gitlab-time-tracking. It is a little dated, but it is more inline with the Omnibus

    @galacto
    @StephenOTT so if I want to use gitlab time tracking do I need to add this project in gitlab installation or its a separate standalone project?
    Stephen Russett
    @StephenOTT
    @galacto it is a standalone. It uses the GitLab API for connectivity and stores the data in a MongoDB
    Shekhar
    @galacto
    mongodb?
    I see its using postgres
    Stephen Russett
    @StephenOTT
    Not sure what you mean?
    Shekhar
    @galacto
    I am trying yo setup locally and configuring postgres right away
    Stephen Russett
    @StephenOTT
    GitLab-Time-Tracking uses MongoDB for its storage
    Shekhar
    @galacto
    oh got it I mixed it up with https://github.com/randx/gitlab-time-tracking
    so sorry my bad
    Stephen Russett
    @StephenOTT
    ah. Yes. The Randx is Postgres
