lsmod shows the module is there
but wpa supplican't doesn't "support" it
I've tried using the nl80211 and wext drivers

it's written by one of the Atom core contribuitors
You can also use the tmux-like capabilities of Atom with it:

hmm
the X.org webpage looks suspiciously like the freedesktop.org one
and the systemd one
... hmm it's almost like THEY'RE THE SAME THING
cmdpwnd
@cmdpwnd
Jun 27 2015 18:39

The X.Org project provides an open source implementation of the X Window System. The development work is being done in conjunction with the freedesktop.org community.

makes sense they'd have the same theme for their pages

@DemHydraz:

This is why things such as C++ (manual memory management, object-oriented) and Objective-C (object-oriented, automatic reference counting) were invented.

Never thought I'd hear you praising C++! :P

Matheus Magalhães de Alcantara
@demhydraz
Jun 27 2015 18:46
i'm not praising it
I'm saying it has OOP features
and that I agree manual memory management is stupid

Well, GC is often the slowest bit of a program.
I just enjoyed a sentence about C++ without it being written off as a basket case.

So, what is everyone working on?
Matheus Magalhães de Alcantara
@demhydraz
Jun 27 2015 18:51
a /blog post about being a back-ender
Which is out
@SquidDev a post about something I think is nescessary,
Howl for normal Lua projects and for CC projects
with a better syntax
SquidDev
@SquidDev
Jun 27 2015 18:52
Owww, shots fired.
I would probably rewrite it to use a more 'browserify' style way of doing things, I like the task syntax, not the dependency one though.
Matheus Magalhães de Alcantara
@demhydraz
Jun 27 2015 18:56
And, for other projects too!
@SquidDev lua is so portable I've already got it in my OS
SquidDev
@SquidDev
Jun 27 2015 18:56
What do you mean 'other projects': it already runs in a ANSI compliment terminal.
Matheus Magalhães de Alcantara
@demhydraz
Jun 27 2015 18:57
C projects.
JS projects.
SquidDev
@SquidDev
Jun 27 2015 18:57
Ah, that makes more sense.
That would be pretty cool.
Matheus Magalhães de Alcantara
@demhydraz
Jun 27 2015 18:58
all you need is a CommandExecutor and custom tasks on files syntax
You'd go:

Jun 27 2015 19:00
I'm going to get killed for saying this, but I do think that a build system based on CLR/JVM would be really cool: you could write in so many different languages and yet use a ton of different libraries. I guess Gradle covers bits, but something that isn't tied to Groovy.
Matheus Magalhães de Alcantara
@demhydraz
Jun 27 2015 19:00
Commands.Executor('/usr/bin/gcc')
    :Param(compile and '-c')
    :Param('-o')
    :Param(output or 'project')
    :Params({
      '-lgtk',
      '-lopenssl'
    })
    :Invoke()
@SquidDev nevah
I mean, It would be cool
@SquidDev and that ↑ (code snip) would get converted to os.execute('/usr/bin/gcc -c -o project -lgtk -lopenssl') or os.run({}, '/usr/bin/gcc -c -o project -lgkt -lopenssl')
SquidDev
@SquidDev
Jun 27 2015 19:02
No. It would get converted to (os.execute or os.run)(...)! Does look cool though.
