    You didn't get an error pushing up to heroku so assume all went well. Carry on and then later on you can just give it another try

    @105ron I started over and everything ran as expected. thanks

    @105ron
    @MaddieRae there is something wrong with your migrations or your Gemfile.lock to cause that error...
    Your seeds file should contain your database schema, which tells me it might be your migrations since it hasn't run successfully. Does rails db:migrate return anything in the console?

    Hi guys, I hope there is someone to help me. I have installed xubuntu to dual boot with Windows 10. I have finished with the installation but when I turn the laptop the system boots windows 10 straightaway. I have turned off secure boot and have tried to repair grub but still nothing. Let me know if someone can help me please

    Hi guys, i'm working on on lesson web development 101, on "PROJECT: YOUR FIRST RAILS APPLICATION" when it was time to "Migrate the DB on Heroku" i run the command in the courses which is "heroku run rails db:migrate" and this keeps on appearing in the terminal 'Cannot run one-off process at this time. Please try again later.
    Popos-MacBook-Pro:my_first_rails_app '

    @105ron
    That's a bummer, it is usually a small problem with your database but it all looks fine to me...
    And the error message isn't very helpful in this instance
    I just cloned it and deployed it to heroku here
    It's something wrong with heroku or the setup on your system. Try again later and if it doesn't work we will have to find out what's wrong with your settings

    @gkortsit I don't have an easy answer, but googling "dual boot boots straight to windows" can get you done options
    Theo
    @gkortsit
    @I3uckwheat no worries I managed to fix the problem

    hey guys, I'm just finishing up the installation portion of web development 101.

    When I try to run

    I get

    remote:
    remote: ! Push failed
    remote: Verifying deploy...

    ! [remote rejected] master -> master (pre-receive hook declined)
    error: failed to push some refs to 'https://git.heroku.com/secret-citadel-67849.git'
    anyone have any ideas?
    Rhys
    @105ron
    Yes
    Why is the Gemfile different to the tutorial? Or did the tutorial change?

    @XavierM99 in config/routes.rb you have an extra end on line 59. (the last line)

    Rails.application.routes.draw do
      root 'cars#index'
      resources :cars
    end
      # The priority is based upon order of creation: first created -> highest priority.
      # See how all your routes lay out with "rake routes".

      # You can have the root of your site routed with "root"
      # root 'welcome#index'

      # Example of regular route:
      #   get 'products/:id' => 'catalog#view'

      # Example of named route that can be invoked with purchase_url(id: product.id)
      #   get 'products/:id/purchase' => 'catalog#purchase', as: :purchase

      # Example resource route (maps HTTP verbs to controller actions automatically):
      #   resources :products

      # Example resource route with options:
      #   resources :products do
      #     member do
      #       get 'short'
      #       post 'toggle'
      #     end
      #
      #     collection do
      #       get 'sold'
      #     end
      #   end

      # Example resource route with sub-resources:
      #   resources :products do
      #     resources :comments, :sales
      #     resource :seller
      #   end

      # Example resource route with more complex sub-resources:
      #   resources :products do
      #     resources :comments
      #     resources :sales do
      #       get 'recent', on: :collection
      #     end
      #   end

      # Example resource route with concerns:
      #   concern :toggleable do
      #     post 'toggle'
      #   end
      #   resources :posts, concerns: :toggleable
      #   resources :photos, concerns: :toggleable

      # Example resource route within a namespace:
      #   namespace :admin do
      #     # Directs /admin/products/* to Admin::ProductsController
      #     # (app/controllers/admin/products_controller.rb)
      #     resources :products
      #   end
    end

    Remove it, git add ., git commit -m "fix routes", git push heroku
