"I work for an exchange. Would you like a listing?"
"We welcome your participation in the network, however our organization does not engage in exchange listings."
might be a bit sad to say, but a pinned message or moderation might be necessary for a while to protect people from misinfo

Hi guys. I'm trying to "convert" my ethereum contract to be used with truebit. I lack a bit of direction here. What I think I have to do:
write a contract (eth-contract-2) to create a truebit task anytime the original ethereum contract (eth-contract-1) needs to be used.
write a truebit task that looks at eth-contract-1 and computes it with the inputs given to it by eth-contract-2.
????
profit
how close to reality am I here?

Guys, is it possible to transfer a Solver licence to another Eth wallet?

@enkhee1117 You can get Truebit tokens directly through the Truebit OS client. When you first start up, you'll swap a few ETH for TRU. Thereafter you can further earn TRU by participating in the network as a Task Giver, Solver, or Verifier. It shouldn't take more than 30 minutes to spin up a Truebit node (even if it's your first time using CLI), and the testnet is great practice for mainnet https://medium.com/truebit/getting-started-with-truebit-on-ethereum-ac1c7cdb0907

Hello I would like to become a verifier on truebit. I filled in the contact form but I did not get feedback if it successfully submitted. Can anyone check the request?

@naregkhodanian
Just got access. How much ETH do I need to fund as a verifier?
If any
Is it just that I need it to buy truebit? Would I be able to just send myself truebit without minting it to stake?
nouveaucode-jordan
@nouveaucode-jordan
Your verifier wallet will need some ETH to pay gas fees
You will also need to deposit (stake) some TRU into the incentive layer
You can send yourself TRU if you have purchased from uniswap or somewhere else. No need to mint new TRU's if you already have some

@naregkhodanian
Got it thank you
How much eth do you recommend?
nouveaucode-jordan
@nouveaucode-jordan
you wont need much to get started as there are not many Tasks on mainnet so ~ 0.2ETH. You can always transfer more ETH to your verifier wallet when the balance gets low
Go to the site and find the form to request access
Your asking in the wrong place

What has the average reward been for being a verify so far on the network?
Finally got everything setup so I just want to know what to expect

Okay figured out most of my issues with mainnet but now I am still getting UnhandledPromiseRejectionWarning: Error: CONNECTION ERROR: Couldn't connect to node on IPC.
and when i try to check truebit price for example i get cannot read property 'accounts' of undefined
naregkhodanian
@naregkhodanian
Github says to just restart but that has not helped me so far
dont quote me but i think if the price hits a certain bottom the minting price decreases? and we hit below 0.20 in last few days i do believe so that may be why

Someone mentioned the dev awards on Twitter, as that was why....

Hi, I submitted a form asking for access to the OS, but I haven't received an email back -- very interested in being a solver, task giver, or verifier for this system, preferably a solver. Have a few years of programming experience under my belt and was an Ethereum miner in 2016 if that counts for anything!
