@roee540 Are you following the QuickStart guide? https://github.com/TruebitProtocol/truebit-eth
roee540
@roee540
@teutsch yes, I tried again from scratch both ((bash /goerli.sh)) and ((geth --goerli --syncmode "light" )). when i run ((./truebit-os -c "ipfs register" --batch > /ipfs-connect.log)) command or ((./truebit-os)) i get the error message. i'm using docker on windows.

@oveuth_twitter Truebit created the verification layer for the bridge. One of the sample tasks in truebit-eth is checking Dogecoin proof-of-work
This is the live demo of the the Truebit part: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gdTd9Djt9gA and this is the code: https://github.com/TrueBitFoundation/scrypt-interactive
Ask
@oveuth_twitter
@cryptoartsy got any more recent?
JA
@cryptoartsy
@oveuth_twitter That’s when the verification layer was created
Ask
@oveuth_twitter
@cryptoartsy Thank you,do you know if Trubit will be used for a Doge Eth bridge?
JA
@cryptoartsy
@oveuth_twitter your welcome! As I responded above, Truebit created the verification layer already. It’s not a matter of “Truebit will” it’s a matter “ Truebit did”!

"Decentralized computing is expensive and is limited by the block Gas cap, making many decentralized applications expensive and impractical."

"As you can see, the blockchain consensus mechanism is redundant in design: all miners perform the same calculation and then agree on the result."

"The calculation is quantified, and the cost is correspondingly based on how complex the code is to execute."

So computing is expensive and limited.

Turebit Aimed at solving this problem.

How relevant is Truebit now that ETH has upgraded to Eip? And proof of stake is on the roadmap
is Truebit only intended to solve the Proof of Work problem? If so how relevant is it gonna be now that Proof of Stake is the status quo
JamesHWW
@JamesHWW
the gas limit is necessary in both proof of work and proof of stake, check out the verifier's dilemma paper for more info: https://eprint.iacr.org/2015/702.pdf

Is there any indication of when we might have another talk by Jason or news from the project.

@teutsch Hello team, what is the best way to track progress/state of things on the doge etherium bridge? Is it being actively built at this time? Is it 50% complete? 60%? Would really love to hear from you.

Hi again, if this isn't the place to get answers, is there another community channel or AMA etc where we can get in touch with the development status of dogetherium? Just a simple response would be appreciated if you would like to keep things private., I am looking for just a hint on whether the bridge is functional, or if it is still being developed, say 30% complete, etc...
