Using atom's one dark theme
Valentin Robert
@basarat are you working on a "show the type of the argument to be filled" feature?
Vasiliy Yorkin

Vasiliy Yorkin

I'm following the Angular2 quick start project from angular.io and every time I make a change to a .ts file I'm seeing 13 pending requests appear in atom. Anyone have any idea why this is? I don't have this problem when I switch to an older quick start project based on Angular2 beta.

Ah of course, forgot my excludes, thanks!

i got an error in atom when i import node_modules
i tried what i could find online but nothing is working
"baseUrl": ".",
in tsconfig.json
but now i got the warning tsconfig is wrong
i also installed latest version of typescript
i guess lot people writing node modules with atom-typescript and got the same error when importing node modules
is there any fix?

If anybody is interested in the internals of this plugin, @mhartington was kind enough to do a video recording : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WOuNb2MGR4o I'm sorry I've moved on from this plugin myself personally but this video should help you understand how it works a bit more :rose:
Hmm anyone got rid of the warning for quotemark - ' should be "
can't find anything

Is there any recommanded way to compile and deply ones TS project? currently we compile everything into one hughe file via grunt script, but I would like to let atom compile the files seperately into some directory and then concatenate, minify and "uglify" them afterwards. The default atom settings seem to just compile every file and save it in the same directory as the TS file.
deply = deploy
Giovanni Lovato
Hi! Which version of the compiler the plugin will use? To one installed with NPM or a bundled one?
I'm testing TS 1.9 in my project and of course Atom complains when using new options of TS 1.9 (for example the lib option).
Why is atom so buggy ;(

I have this error ''bash' is not recognized as an internal or external command,' when I press cmd+shift+B on windows. Can I change the execution so instead of calling bash ..call the cmd?

Hey guys, is there any way to disable the ctrl+click "Go to definition" feature?
When pasting something, I press control +left click almost at the same time, and then just press v afterwards. This is a "human race condition" for me, because sometimes I hold control and then click, which opens lib.d.ts (for example), which takes ages, and leads to me getting frustrated.
Oh wow, it came from the typescript-modules-helper, not from here
Consider it fixed :D
Hmm. I've tried both atom-typescript and VS Code, and I can't seem to get type files (installed via typings) recognized.
From my tsconfig.json:
    "filesGlob": [
Gustav Bylund
@eenblam You should probably only add typings/index.d.t.s (if using typings 1.0)
Also where are the files located (is the tsconfig in the same folder as the typings directory)? Are the typings installed properly?
  1. Yes 2. I installed via the command line. Not sure how to evaluate whether or not they installed properly, apart from not getting errors on installation.
Gustav Bylund
ls typings ?
Blake Embrey
@eenblam filesGlob is not an official property, it'll only work using atom
@blakeembrey Right. I tried explicitly linking the files using "files" when using VS Code.
Blake Embrey
ok, you only need a single reference to typings/index.d.ts
what was the error?
@Maistho: globals/ index.d.ts modules/
Blake Embrey
was it via vs code or atom or tsc?
Yes, tried using only typings/idnex.d.ts, too.
