    So, the issues we need to work on for now are: #14, #13, #2, and #3. #14 is the most pressing, so if anyone wants to set us up with some basic class declarations (.h and .cpp files and such), assign the issue to yourself and go at it. It shouldn't take any more than 30 minutes or so. If no one is able to get to it today, I can do it later this evening. We'll need that before anything else.
    Was everyone actually able to get some basic SFML working? It'd stink to get far into the project to realize only one person has it working. :P
    Also I put nice links to the github and waffle.io right under the title of this chat (at the top of the page). I like to account for laziness because I am lazy. :D

    Hey, I've cloned the repo, but when I attempt to compile (I do have sfml installed) it says the Graphics file is missing. I'm not sure why it's not finding the file. Any suggestions?

    It's because of your include path and Xcode issues, not really SFML issues. Worst case scenario you can just use brew remove sfml and then ignore homebrew and use this instead: http://www.sfml-dev.org/tutorials/2.2/start-osx.php
    I also sent you an email explaining it in more detail if you want to learn how $PATH and using environment variables (include paths, etc) in Xcode.

    hey guys sorry that I have been awal for the past couple of days I busted out my final project for art then I got sick and sidetracked. Back on track hopefully, still sick though, so I probably wont make it to class today however I will pull everything and start working on whatever it is that needs be done. If there is something specific I can do at this point please let me know otherwise I am just going to look at the board and see where the code is. I apologize again.

    Well, Jacob and I have been working in the Entities branch for the stuff we have been doing. I would like to do a quick review for people in class today and see about merging it into the master branch.

    Earlier I added classes for State (inherits from Game), Overlay, Menu (inherits from Overlay), and UI (inherits from Overlay).

    So when I moved the files around into their own directories and such, I didn't use git mv so it treated them as new files. So if you guys see a huge commit where I added and removed 1000+ lines, don't worry. :D

    So, today at 3:30ish I'm going to be free to work on the platformer until somewhat late in the evening. I spent most of last night figuring out how the code fits together and such. There are some refactors I'd like to make, but at this point they wouldn't be worth it. But I'll see what I think at 3:30.

    Hey guys I did some work for a spiked ball entity (could not find something half way decent for a trap will keep looking though) unfortunately git is not letting me push. It says that I am putting in the wrong username/password but I have logged out and back into git several times with said username and password hopefully I will get it up before class.

    So somehow I essentially fork bombed my computer. Whenever you press the pause button, it opens an infinite number of new windows with the menu open in them. D:

    I'm working more on it. I'm running into a lot of weird issues with circular includes. In a few places we forward declare the Game class, for example, so I'm getting incomplete type errors.

    Yeah, the way the commands are currently set up they aren't inheriting or anything from Game, so they need to forward declare Game as a class before working. But we need to change that somehow.

    created a pull request for the collision handling but i still need to clean up some things in it. But it does handle the player colliding with the room and the coins. and will despawn the coins when that happens.

    sorry guys i have not been able to get my entities up i keep running into error after error when i am trying to compile. current one is I am missing a dll file so should not be too hard to fix but some other things I had to find a work around for. Like my compiler fail on to_string as not part of the std::
    and this is without my entity just the current origin

    Well, fun project! I'll probably remove myself from the org within the next month or so. If any of you want copies of the game, go ahead and fork it. The group is under my email, so I might delete the org eventually if one of you don't want it. Let me know.
